Buy it anyways for when you do decide to get a PC. Or at the very least, install BootCamp.

That is a steal.

Now I'm gonna sin. Forgive me Tim Schafer and Co.

My understanding is that Double Fine no longer receives money for copies of Psychonauts these days. Anyone know if that's true? I seem to recall Tim saying that if you wanted them to get paid, it'd be better to buy a t-shirt from their store.

@IHearYou Not sure, although this article http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2010/11/24/double-fine-talks-sequels-they-can-and-can-t-make.aspx makes it seem as though they at least have the rights to it (unlike Grim Fandango, etc).

I may be getting it mixed up with the fact that Majesco (the original publisher) went out of business, and so DF didn't really get any more money from sales of the disc version. Perhaps these digital stores get past that?

Majesco didn't go out of business and no, neither Majesco nor Double Fine sees anything worth noting from sales of this game, in fact it only ever made them debt.

And further, as I understand it the IP rights to Psychonauts are split in enough ways to make a true sequel highly unlikely.

I'm writing a book about buying grea-, no, amazing games for the second time.

Spoiler: It's worth it, especially when it's just 2,50

I hope the other companies follow suit. about $3 is cheap for a game that was released in 2005 or so. I want to buy other old games too...

Last I checked, the PC version was a little screwy, audio-wise.

I already have a copy. Then I figured, it's only 2.50 bucks, what the hell. Might as well send a message with my money.

We get a HD release of Beyond Good and Evil next week - I wish Psychonauts would get the same treatment. I have played through my Xbox copy 3 times and would jump at the chance to play an updated version with achievements and improved graphics.

Stupid Xbox 360 controller, and not being able to connect to a PC via a Plug n' Play Kit. Otherwise I'd be all over this.

I have this game already on Steam. Best platformer I've ever played to date because each level isn't simply a carbon copy of eachother when it comes to both looks and even gameplay mechanics.
