We thought we couldn't be more excited for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but the just-debuted first in-game footage for the game has proven us terriffically, comically wrong.

Don't people know that whenever there is a big news announcement its called a megaton or bombshell. They saw megaton on the joystiq podcast too.

@TaintedKane Kind of a misappropriation of the word/meaning. Megaton is usually a large amount of news issued...like at E3 or TGS...not one trailer for an already announced game with screenshots.

I agree its awesome, but Megaton? Nope.

I was using the term as an expression of awe and recognising the 'size' of this 'news' - I guess it's not news, but I thought actual gameplay footage might be constituted as such. I just thought it was a pretty big deal.

So so up for this game. If it's nothing more than Oblivion with a lick of paint Id be counting the days... In the meantime, I think I better get my coat...
