Not like what they were releasing for WoR was stellar, but its nice to see it still supported. There's really no reason that they should quit making DLC. It's how Rock Band 2 stayed relevant even 2 years after its release.

eh, I buy a lot of RB DLC, buying the Pretty Hate Machine pack next week, but no...RB hasn't been relevant for some time.

It is still relevant when speaking just specifically of the music genre. People were still playing RB2 2 years after it was released because of its weekly DLC support, if there were no continuous DLC I REALLY doubt RB2's fanbase would be anywhere near where it is now.

Ah, ye old marketing strategy.
Pretend you are going to take it away so that people realize they actually want it.

I don't play GH enough, but couldn't agree with you more about DJ Hero. There are just too many possibilities as far as mixes go.
They still need to mix Atomic Dog and Double-Dutch Bus with somthing!

I'm sure DJ Hero got continued support, but I don't know who is giving this Guitar Hero continued support.

I'm not saying creating DLC is easy, but it's got to be a lot easier than making the actual game. Heck, if Harmonix can release the tools for anyone to make DLC, then why not keep a handful of programs on staff, and let them work on DLC. No physical production costs, so if you dump out 1-2 songs a week for DJ Hero, you could turn a few bucks.

Heck, drop the prices now and I'll buy it. And not one week "specials." Make a permanent price drop for a $1-2 dollars per pack.

@Deezul AwT

I hear ya buddy, the packs are way too expensive for three songs.
If they were half price, they would sell more.

Its the ONLY reason why I have not bought the packs, cost.
I want too, but I refuse too at such a high price.

1/5 of the game price here. £7.99 for 3 songs. Is not good value.

" 'continued support' from fans" ... aka we still want to make money off you somehow, but we call it "fan support" so you can fall for our bull***t again.

HEY ALL YOU suposed "I'm done with Activision" people, you want to show them just how mad you are, don't buy it, thats right DONT BUY IT AT ALL... i can already hear your excuses before you spout them so don't bother. DLC money is going STRAIGHT into the pockets of someone who did not even develop the game since GH and DJHero are dead and making DLC takes almost little to no people. You think buying this DLC will show Activision that they should make another one? fine, but don't go crying when they pull yet ANOTHER Activision on you. Its nobodys fault but your own. If you say "I'm Done With Them" then be a man (or woman) and own up to it.

I bought a few songs for WOR even got the Death Magnetic album. Makes me wonder if people went on a spending sphere just cause they were afraid Activision would remove the DLC at some point.

Wouldn't doubt it, considering they did it for Ultimate Alliance 2

@Freddie Mercury UA2 had nothing to do with Activision deciding they didn't want to sell the DLC. They lost the license to Marvel. Simple as that. Since Marvel is now owned by Disney, Disney wanted their taste.

Considering they're still making Marvel games, your reasoning is flawed

They shoulda just stuck with a couple of GH titles and released a butt load of DLC rather than wear the franchise out by bring out 5 games in the space of about 4 years.

Hopefully they just stick with WoR for a while and still release DLC for that
