That is a surprisingly quick turn around for Reach on GoD for XBL.

Can't wait for Torchlight, pretty pumped for it!

Hmmmm, does a free gold weekend give you access to the gold deals? I was thinking about picking up Toy Soldiers and using a 1 month card I have laying around, but I might save it if the weekend free gold would let me buy it.

@Courtney

I don't think trial gold memberships allow for the purchase of Xbox Live Gold deals, just for the full online functionality like online multiplayer, game/party invites, game/party chat, and messages.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is definitely worth getting at that price, especially if you have a friend to play with.

@majorfalcon Lara Croft and Tomb Raider are two different franchises. Currently GoL is the only game in the former franchise. So yes, techincally it is all the Lara Croft DLC.

Did they ever get around to adding in online co-op via patch in Lara Croft GOT like they promised? If so I'm buying it.

Yes a few months ago. The game has some glitches, most will just make you laugh, but overall it's a fantastic game and tons of fun either alone or co-op.

$5 for costumes in MvsC3, now we have to pay $5 for each character, thats ridiculous!

@linkboy77 If you think that's bad, just wait for the inevitable costume DLC for those characters.

Especially considering how lacking in content the actual game is. No meaningful modes beyond arcade/versus. No cheesy mini-games like the car buster. Nothing

THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER ANIMATING CUTSCENES. There could have atleast been an attempt at at cross over story. If they wanted to do strictly comic pages then they could have atleast had full animated comic issues for each main character inbetween each fight. I love MvC3 but you have to be the hardest of hardcore fans to not feel ripped off.

It's because the DLC will already be finished by that time. I think both of those things are free if you preordered the game/bought it new by a certain point.

Yes, the first DLC is included free with the Signature Edition copies of the game and the second DLC is free to anyone that purchases the game new. So quit your whining, endgamer.

2D sprites take a great deal more care and talent to create in their defense. And that is still better than Capcom's usual re-release retail game to get extra characters.

I wish Joystiq would have split the good news with the capcom news. The Capcom news is making me so angry it is hard to be excited about the cool sale items.

I'd love to know how many dozens of kb this download code is. My guess is around 98 entire kilobytes to unlock the characters on the disc. Alt colors should be coming for around $10 per 5 characters in the next few months. Keep up the good work Capcom.

Joking. I hope you go out of business shit for brains.

wow. 5 dollars for each new character in mvc3? Then all the other additional content coming out for more money. Why mvc2 was so good is that it had so many different characters to choose from for casual players like myself. You cannot if try the character to see if you even like them and how many times you would play with them. Even though its still a great game, another fighter game like Soul Caliber had so many opitions/modes/costumes to use FREE of course after spending 60bucks.....gamers will have to resist in order to show the industry that they wont spend extra for things that should be included...i will say no thanks but it sucks i can only imagine who else they will release....seeing how many they left out from the start.....

I feel like MvC3 represents the pinnacle in wasted potential this generation. I can name at least 5 popular Capcom characters that aren't in the game and they go and charge $5 for a 3rd Resident Evil character.

I would have paid $5 for Megaman.

Buy GoL people. Totally worth it at $15, and a must-buy at this price.

It's a shame they didn't get the online co-op ready in time and took so much negative press for it. It really is a fantastic game.

screw capcom... i guarantee they had all their DLC characters made before the game released, but instead of giving us a proper roster with tons of characters... they know suckers will pay for it afterwards. pretty soon the games will ship with 2 characters and add 50 more for 5$ each as DLC

I was out for the entire day when Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light was on sale on Steam. It didn't look like it would run on my PC anyway, so I'm happy at the prospect of getting another chance.

I noticed that Full House Poker comes on the 15th of March. I'm still a bit unsure about that one, to be honest. Then again, that 'Texas Heat' mode...

Furthermore, I noticed a plethora of Halo: Reach content coming in the first half of the month. The 10th brings a 'Halo: Reach Avatar Collection Update', which I hope to god does not include the Noble Six Avatar Helmet. That NEEDS to remain a limited edition item.

As well as the Defiant Map Pack heading out on the 15th, it seems that the game itself is going on Games on Demand. That's nice, but a GoD release is usually a sign that a game's online community is dying a harsh death. Curse you, Black Ops!
