Maybe I've been living under a rock, but what the heck is impulse? Some steam competitor? Never even heard of it...

@leonffs
It's run by Stardock, had a couple of games like Galactic Civilisations and Sins of a Solar Empire on there, as well as indie stuff. But they do a lot of stuff these days.

@leonffs Yep. I think its ran by Stardock. There are some other services (Direct 2 Drive, GamersGate) but nobody knows any of the others due to Steam's (well deserved) near monopoly on digital downloads.

Hmmm. I already own Farcry and I have no interest in Call of Juarez, but AC and RSV2 are a good deal.... Hmmm. Maybe I'll just wait until they do an Assassin's Creed bundle.

Just picked this bad boy up on Steam last night......
I was never a big fan of the first AC but for this price what the hell.....

Since I gave steam my checking account number, billfold and all my credit card information I no longer feel bad when "they" buy me a game LOL

Now the wife cant be mad at me^^

$3 bundle? Is that a typo? It's $12.99 to me

@Bingo Bango They mean that every game is $3.25 effectively, since it's a 4 game bundle.

@Bingo Bango I think he just forgot the "1". It's suppose to be $13, not $3.

Yeah about the only game that interests me in the slightest is Assassins Creed.... maybe call of Juarez but thats a big maybe.

Don't get me wrong its a great deal as a whole I just wish they were available individually. So for me its an unfortunate pass.

I saw FarCry 2 at OfficeMax for about 10 dollars. I'm really considering a purchase of that somewhere.

In case anyone cares, Amazon has the steam pack broken up, $3.99 a piece except for RSV2, which is $1.99. Can't activate them on Steam, but there ya go.

Call of Juarez is fun, great game so far, Assassins Creed is ok, worth the price, Rainbow Six is also a very good FPS/Tactical game, and I dunno about Far Cry 2, is still downloading xD

I guess it could be worse.

When Steam was doing one day sales, they usually put the story up about which games were on sale 5 hours before the sale ended. And this wasn't a one-time thing, they were doing an entire month of 1-day sales.

Yeah, Joystiq didn't even mention Braid was $3 on steam the last couple of days during the Mid-week sale...

Can't buy MoH in Europe. Too bad. Well, at least I've got Brink and Homefront pre-ordered.

I wouldn't get the ubisoft bundle for free. Far Cry 2 is an abomination on mankind. In fact, it's so bad that when my friend got it for free with his video card, he lost the disc and never thought twice about it.

"Steam's offering Assassin's Creed, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, Far Cry 2 and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 in a bargain $3 bundle"

Fix it! I looked, saw $3 for 4 games.. rushed to steam. Said wtf.. came back.. in the article after clicking it said $13.
