I don't understand why the Disney PSN games get a separate category on PSN. Is that so you know they might go back into the "Disney Vault" and you won't be able to purchase them again. Will they come back with more totally useless features?

I hear those Disney games are OK but the PS1 era was some of the worse Disney movies. Pixar saved Disney movies. Hercules was complete crap.

@FriedConsole You must be thinking of a different movie, because Hercules had Danny Devito in it.

Hercules was one of the best Disney movies in years! That movie, along with Toy Story and The Lion King were the only movies I needed as a kid.

Seriously? Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan ect. These are all crap? I dont know what youve been smoking man but its bad juju.

And what the hell "Pixar saved Disney". You do know Pixar was a no name start up company that just did commericals before Disney found them right? They were on the edge of bankruptcy and Disney commsioned them to make Toy Story. Get your facts straight, hater.

@Billlop Disney didn't "commsioned" anyone to do Toy Story. Pixar pitched the idea of making Toy Story to Disney, they rejected the movie because it was to creepy, they went to the drawing board again, presented the new story to Disney and then they gave money to Pixar to make the movie.
You need to watch this film: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1059955/

You're the one that needs to get his facts straight.

I'm seriously considering getting into Pokemon. I have never played one game ever and I don't know the first thing about it, other than it's massively popular and looks like it is a huge, fun, time eater.

Is now the right time? Is here the right place? Is Black better than White? What the hell is a Pokemon? I'm excited, yet scared. Someone hold me...

I think anytime is a good time to walk into a pokemon game. You aren't really missing anything if you have not played the others yet. Although I don't know why, but Pokemon bores me by the time I get the third gym badge

There's nothing more to say, other than "Why haven't you bought it yet?!"

I'd recommend starting from the first games, Red and Blue, but I don't see anything wrong with getting into it through the new ones.

@Nytemare
I don't know why I haven't tried it for myself. I have no excuse other than I just didn't. I'm really interested and from what I'm reading it seems like these new ones might be a good place to start it up.

every game has new pokemon, there's about 800 of them now, I think? And you can just start playing them whenever you want. The point of the game is to catch as many different kinds, train them, and fight other players/gym leaders :P. I got tired of it after playing Yellow, Gold and Ruby, but if you're just starting now, it's great ^^.

I played the first game, and it was awesome. Back when there was only 151. Haven't played any since, but this new one looks pretty unique. If I had a DS, I'd buy it. Probably wouldn't get into the multiplayer personally.

It's totally worth checking it. It's a great starting point for new comers I think. Visuals are sharp, combat is smooth and fast comparatively. While there is a total of 649 pokemon available now, that doesn't matter until AFTER you complete the campaign. Before you complete the campaign all the pokemon are new, you can't access 493 of them and you won't encounter them, they don't exist. So it's a lot more like the original pokemon with 156 available to you.

Anyways, it's super fun, they streamlined a LOT of the quirks in the system, and has a ton of replayability post-campaign. If you want a fun RPG with the option of a lot of post game to hold you over, it's a great game to pick up.

Oh, and black/white are pretty much exactly the same. Just get whichever one has a cooler looking pokemon on the cover to you, because that one is exclusive to your version.

Funny you mention that, me too...in a way. The last Pokemon game I played seriously was Pokemon Red back when the Gameboy was just a "Gameboy".

Kinda neat to see how far its progressed since then...I'm kinda stoked just to see em MOVE now when in combat O_o.

Also, I wonder if Yoostar would be fun with the Kinect. The"2" following the title signifies that this is a sequel, but I've never of it. Wanting something new to play with my wife with the Kinect.

Disney's Hercules was EXCELLENT, despite the few liberties taken with the myth, and the PSX game was one of the best on the system.

I'm calling it: Dragon Age 2 is going to achieve the same result among fans as the transition from ME1 to ME2. Lots of people are going to hail it as a brilliant melding of action and rpg. Others are going to say "WHERE IS MY RPGZ" or "Get your action game out of my dungeon crawler!"

That being said, I was a bit disappointed to find the ME2 conversation wheel popping up in DA2. I thought it was a nice way to keep the two separate, where in DA you had to read what you were selecting to predict what the consequences would be.

Everything I've heard about Dragon Age 2 has put me off. The demo had slightly improved combat over the original and a far worse camera. The new visuals are a very mixed bag, and the dialogue wheel is bleagh. Leaks about the story make the plot sound like Fable 3 and it apparently has the same "Only unlock one extra costume per follower" crud ME2 did. Half the posts on the forums by Bioware staff read like a DeviantArts comment section, and there's no overlooking 27! individual pre-order bonus items as well as $17 worth of day one DLC.

I'm going to wait a year or two and buy the inevitable GotY edition with all the DLC, or just not buy it at all and wait until people once again make RPGs worth playing.
