Approximately 81% of which suck, with the sole good one being QotSA for me.

Also, when I first heard "Supermassive Black Hole", it sounded like it was a Kelly Clarkson song. As I listened to the rest, however, it turned out to be by N'Sync.

@My Prerogative

You mean that QotSA song that's been in Rock Band since like 2006?

If the fans of this series like it, good on them. I'm personally not into these tracks, though. Puddle of Mudd can eat it.

Now let's get that DJ Hero 2 DLC rolling!

Knowing Joystiq, if anyone says they like Headstrong, they will get downvoted.

I'm keeping my mouth shut.

Well, truth be told, that opinion of Trapt extends beyond the boundaries of Joystiq. lol

One thing I always envied GH was Muse, in less than 6 months they got 2 Muse songs while RB, for almost 3 years now, has only gotten one.

Rest of the songs are pretty meh though.

@libregkd hopefuly it will be like Queen and The Who. Nothing for absolutely ages, and then BOOM 10 songs at once!

Supermassive Black Hole? Always? She's a Genius?

Why did they pick the worst songs by three decent artists?

@Mach2

Okay, I take that back. Saliva has much worse songs. But Jet is a gold mine of awesome pop-rock songs that would be perfect for GH or RB, and they pick She's a Genius? *groan*

Huh? There's output is same/worse as ever. Instead of 4 weeks of 3 songs you now get 1 week of 9/10 songs.

Unless of course you are talking about the quality of the songs, in which case its entirely subjective (For the most part anyway).

Joystiq are Trapt haters? That's disappointing, they've had some great tracks, including the included Headstrong track here. Meh, their loss - I would be interested in knowing what JC Fletcher would prefer though.

In fact, any reviewer or blogger who comments on any music related piece of news should fully disclose their musical preferances - that way, I can click his name, know what he likes and dislikes, and decide if his posts are relevant to me or not.

To this track pack though, there's some pretty good songs here (besides Headstrong). Saliva is a wicked band (new album out this month!!) and their track Always is awesome.

But alas - none of this is relevant to me, since I don't purchase Guitar Hero DLC (why should I when it's cheaper to purchase Rock Band DLC?). Guess even that's irrelevant now considering Guitar Hero's recent demise (however, I caution everyone who says Guitar Hero is dead - I firmly believe this is simply a well-deserved hiatus).

It is not what I would call a good song, but I'd rather hear Headstrong than anything by Nickelback, Seether, Shinedown, or several other bands that have emerged in the same time frame.

Supermassive Black Hole was in a Muse track pack for GH3.
Little Sister has been in a track pack for Rock Band since 2007, plus Rock Band 3 has No One Knows.

The desperation Activision shows is ridiculous.
