Three of Xbox Live Arcade's most lauded games are getting bundled together in one retail package, it seems. Twisted Pixel CEO and co-founder, Michael Wilford, revealed this Amazon listing on Twitter today, commenting that a bundle of Limbo, Trials HD and Splosion Man was initially only headed to Japan and now will be available in North America, as well.
The Amazon listing suggests a $29.99 price point, which seems a little low -- Limbo is normally $15, while the other two are $10 -- so we've followed up with Microsoft for confirmation and an expected launch date. We'll let you know what we find out.
Update: A Microsoft representative has confirmed with Joystiq that the $29.99 price is accurate and that the bundle will be available for purchase on April 19 either through online retailers or on store shelves here in the US. It'll also come with a 48-hour Xbox Live Gold trial and 160 MS Points.

It is potentially more expensive f you have been keeping an eye on the sales. Off the top of my head the games have been on sale for:
Limbo- $10
Trials- $5
Splosion Man- $2
I still like the idea though because that means I will be able to rent the disc on Gamefly.

Indeed. I bought Splosion man back when it was $2.
I'll probably wait until Walmart or somewhere has them for $15-$20.

This is crazy good quality stuff. Hopefully we'll see a widespread return of these types of collections!

i wish they'd do this for the top 10 games every year like those crappy top 40 compilations that come out.

All great games, kind of weird seeing them bundled together though.

$5 off might 'seem a bit low' but didn't you know? They can save money by using the fantastic new innovation called 'printing plastic discs and moving them physically around the country'. It's so much cheaper than digital downloads that they are even able to offer you extra perks, like being able to resell the game after you finish it!
Apparently.

Trials HD isn't $10 though... It's been on sale many times for $10 but the normal price is $15.

I still would like more games. SEGA's collection was bad, yes, but it had four games, all with more content than these XBLA games (not saying these are bad, just saying those had more) and in somewhat unnecessary HD.

I think they should get 5 and put them together for $40 or $50.

48 Hour Gold Trial.
Is this supposed to be an incentive?

This is a great thing for people like me who don't have their 360's connected to the intertubes. I, for one, would buy this.

These games are well worth $30...I just wish most of the money from retail sales would go to the developer, but it's probably less than digital sales.

Nice little collection since I've been wanting to pick up Limbo & Trials, but don't want them DRMed on my MS refurbed 360.
I'll wait for the price to drop under $20 however since I've seen these games all on sale (at one time or another) for less than $20, let alone the $30 MSRP.

Might end up getting it and playing limbo and getting all the achievements then giving it to a friend so he can play splosion man with me online.

I already have all of these games, they all rock. I wonder if this comes with the DLC for Trials?
