Lode Runner is a great XBLA game, well worth the $10. But really these XBLA sales need to get more drastic, I mean this game is two years old! Still better than paying full price like I did.

Sad thing is, the game doesn't seem like it's worth more than 800 points at regular price.

They should drop the prices on more old XBLA games. Who is gonna pay $5 for Dig Dug?

I grew up playing the original on my Apple IIc. I loved that game... Might pick this up!

I like how its not on PS3, But it could so easily be made on LBP2. I played a really well made game of Limbo on LBP2.

When Lode Runner was first released they accidentally had it for 800 for a few days. It is a fun game and if you used to play the C64 version a lot, it's fun to play an updated version.

I'm glad I never got around to buying it at 1200 MSP. I really liked the trial, but wasn't sure it was worth $15. At $10 is a guaranteed purchase.

Meh - anyone thing that this is less of a "price drop" and more of a "price correction"? Seems to me a game like this should have started at $10. We should be looking at paying $5 now...

In other news - if you haven't purchased "Lara Croft: Guardian of Light" yet, then you suck. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you that.

I bought this when it first came out, and I enjoyed it a lot. I definitely got $15 worth out of it when I first played it, so $10 is great value. I still haven't beat all the levels yet.

After buying this game the $15 was well worth it if you like action puzzle games. Play it on co-op and the fun increases exponentially.

Yeah let me know when this goes dotw. I'll grab anything decent for that magic 400msp price. I'll take pretty much any game for 160, good or bad.

@SuperWoody64

This is exactly how I shop XBLA too. The max i usually pay is 600msp, for games that are 1200 and half off, like Lara Croft is this week.

Yes, I'm very cheap.

Wat.
Damn.
I'm missing out on some awesome games.

I remember playing the ORIGINAL black-and-white, 8-bit Lode Runner on my dad's Macintosh (that's how old it is). I had NO IDEA there was a new-gen version.

Now I really wish I had a 360... but my salary is much too small to afford XBL.
