*shock*

So Free Realms isn't actually FREE at all.
In that case, this won't be getting an install on my PS3!

Free MMO on PSN? Well worth the download.

I dabbled in the PC release and thought it was alright. A touch kid-friendly for my taste, but hey...for a gig or two of hard drive space, I'll give it another go on my TV.

I think this will be a really big hit initially. I tried it for a few weeks. Not a great game but it's okay for free.

Seriously? Do you worry people are going to walk into your basement and see you playing such a game?

it's on the JPN PSN. good luck sorting through the nigh-indecipherable menus trying to find it (if you aren't a native speaker).

I remember saying that Free Realms should have been brought to the PS3 instead of Home way back when they were released. Took a while, but at least it's finally here.

I hope my account works on PS3...i see that it wont intermingle the PS3 and PC but it didnt say that you needed to recreate a separate PS3 account. If so i wont because I already paid for membership on PC long time ago :P

(If you actually do prefer men, I apologize, and I salute you sir)

Seriously though, if a woman ever saw my desktop computer while it was running (compared to my sterilized laptop) I'd jump off a bridge. Or I'd transfer to another university, at the very least.

i tried it on PC .. i thought it was Kiddie but i thought it was alright BUT when you play and get too level 4 but can't get to Level 5 in Classes Like Chef for example ( as that was what I Chose too be ) i couldn't i think i had to have a paid member shit to get to a higher level and i thought .. wow guess it's not totally free you have to pay for something .. that sucks i wouldn't tout it's free cause of this i felt as if i was playing a BIG Demo. so i don't count it as my first MMO played i count DCUO instead

HOpefully if this gets alot of revenue from the move to PS3,

SOE will decide to make DCUO F2P, for all the people who have been holding out thus far.
Although, after reading about just the SECOND content update, I wouldnt hold my breath for too long, you could be getting those feat points.

Well, like others have said, this is just like Playstation Home.
Both will be free to download and play basic characters.
And both will use micro transactions for you to buy additions to your wardrobe so you can set yourself apart from the rest of the newbies.
Even Playstation Home announced a bunch of development tools to improve its ability to make mini games within itself as a most logical response to keep itself competitive and interesting with Free Realms.

Now thats how i know the developers for this game have been taking some HARD drugs.

@Yisrael Or they just copied every idea Disney and Nintendo made and crammed them all in a game without any rhyme or reason. The game is a mess. Car racing might be kind of fun on a console though.

Laughing my ass off at all the people who say they won't be playing this. If this has trophy support then I bet there will be a lot of people having kids all of a sudden who used their account to play it. =P
