YAYY!! I'm having fun with it on Xbox, even AFTER playing it for hours on the PC :] Now all I ask... is for Torchlight 2 as soon as possible! Multiplayer PLEASSSE!! I'm tired of lone dungeon crawling :(

@BadgerDeluxe (I should probably clarify that I mean Torchlight 2 on CONSOLES. My gaming PC has been dead for quite some time, I'm pretty exclusively a console gamer now, not because of some elitist transition, but because I just don't have the money for a new computer any time soon) T_T

I tried it on my 360 with a broken DVD drive. Almost flawless port. Still haven't found how to use the Portal scrolls.

@AkashiyaMoka
Just 'use' the scroll and a portal opens up when you leave the inventory.

@CynicalStrike

I think I had a game portal already up on the same level so that's probably why the UI didn't let me pop one by myself.

@AkashiyaMoka You can't use town portal scrolls if you're in a phase portal either.

i told myself i wasnt gona pay 15 bucks for a second copy seing as i got it for like 5 bucks on the pc, but i couldnt controll myself and found it much more enjoyable with a controller. this success can only mean the company will do all it can now to bring the sequel on the xbox also since it has such a good fanbase now.

@Fuzunga Agreed. If this isn't enough of an indicator that a game like this can work on a console, I don't know what is. This game is fantastic, and the ONLY thing it's missing is co-op. It'll be absolutely perfect once they do that.

@TheIcemanCometh I would pay $15 again for Torchlight if they just add co-op to it and call it Torchlight 2.

Gladly purchased Torchlight the day it launched on xbla. Having a ton of fun with it and I am blown away there is so much game and its a less than 200mb download. Like Shadow Complex you get $60 game play for $15. Many publishers should bex taking notes and learning lessons regarding quality.

Glad to hear it did so well. Should give everyone confidence that Torchlight 2 will find it's way to xbla as well. Hopefully Sony ask for it this time around. I too hope Blizzard is watching. I would absolutely love to have Diablo 3 on PSN and xbla and Im sure I'm not alone.

But it might be possible for it to be released retail. However that is a longshot when regarding launch date. Maybe a year after pc release.

I'm a pc gamer mostly but I like when console players get to enjoy the amazing games I play on pc. Hope this becomes a trend but at the same time hope that developers don't start to ignore us pc players entirely due to the ease of developing for consoles.

Ha! Blizzard taking note of what other companies do well!? And do something that will benefit the consumer and their fan base? That WON'T happen. If anything they will delay the game to 2015 make it $70 and split it into one game per profession that will span 5 years and Blizzard fans will clamor that that was the best news they've ever heard! Anyway, good job for Runic. THEY deserve the success.

@geoff0011

Since when did Blizzard not take notice of other companies? Almost everything Blizzard makes or adds to their games is taken from a different game and reworked into something better or more polished than the original, like with Everquest and WoW, or the Warhammer setting and the Warcraft setting.

But yeah, if Diablo III comes out and it can't compare to a $15 downloadable title, then Blizz better watch out.

I wish Runic would patch the PC/Mac version up to parity with the Xbox. I'd love to use the Xbox controller/interface on the PC, but it's pretty unlikely according to reps from Runic. Oh well. Still an amazingly good game.

As long as they are not going to limit torchlight 2 in some way because they want it on console I'm fine with it. And I applaud the success they have had with the 360 version.

Played it on PC, but tried the demo on XBLA anyway, and I think XBLA may have been the way to go. Hitting shift + the number keys as a vanquisher just feels really awkward in comparison to the controller (although there's more keys you can map, I hardly ever hit anything past 6 due to said awkwardness).

If I could remap keys it'd probably solve my issues though.

@Crayola Q Pants ESQ

You can, it just requires a little bit of extra PC knowhow and some sort of code conversion chart. I'm pretty sure there's a sticky about it somewhere in their official forums.

Such a great game! I bought it on Steam when it launched on PC and never played it. Bought it on XBLA and I'm having a blast. Glad I finally got a chance to play it. Poor PC games...they don't stand a chance with me, hard as I try.

It's probably the single best PC port to console ever made. I've been blown away by how much fun it is. Next, just need some couch co-op added in for Torchlight 2!

Funny, because I loved it PvZ on PC and just couldn't get into it on the Xbox. Might be because I had already played through it about 1 and half times and done every single possible thing though.

They nailed the gamepad controls. The game is now a more direct and immersive experience. Downsides are few. Jollies are many. Congrats, Runic.

So did the PS3 version just kind of disappear into thin air or what?

Already have it on the PC so I know it's a great game. It would be pretty fun to try it out with a controller though. I'm glad more people can enjoy it now.

@Ospov I bet it comes out eventually if/when they have enough sales on arcade. I am sure it was a much easier port from pc to the 360 which is necessary for a small team.

Really fun game!!! Even the music reminds me of Diablo.
If anyone has played Death Spank, it's much like that only more serious and seems more grand in scale (and better combat). I love being able to send my pet back to town to sell my extra loot too!!!!! All RPG's should have that feature!!!!! Well done Runic!

I'll pass, co-op in Diablo/Clones is absolutely mandatory for me.

Don't get me wrong, I know this game is pretty sweet...but no co-op completely ruins it.

It might be heresay but I actually prefer the control scheme on the 360 than using a mouse and keyboard. To be fair though, I have been playing on a mac and using the magicmouse which is just a nightmare for gaming.

+15 HP per hit weapon
Alchemist Shield
Dungeon maps for sale

I milked that demo good.
