Who the hell is still buying these Musou-type games? Hopefully this will have more than one combo per character. ;P

@Deuce

Probably the same people who continue to see Big Mamma movies.

I don't buy them but I will admit to GameFly-ing them. They're good 30 min. timewasters.

Well we all know the Dynasty Warrior gameplay worked for Fist of the Northstar............

Are people still buying these Dynasty Warriors type games? I don't understand the appeal. They just seem like stiff, boring and repetitive button mashing action games.

Seriously, it shouldn't be hard to make a good Naruto game. Maybe Japan just can't make them. Ubisoft did a pretty good job with it.

Sounds great! I enjoy these games, make for some fun co-op :).

(Also:
...stop hatin', don't like it, don't play it. Pretty simple I think.)

Are people still buying Final Fight? Seriously why do people like boring, repetitive button masher action games?

And all the characters look like palette swaps of each other. Lame.

They should put more effort into it.

@edofyingfilms Given that most of the non-main cast in naruto are palette swaps, this might fit the series perfectly.

@CaptainProtonX I made almost the exact same post you did without seeing yours. I really hate handhelds and japans obsession with them. :(

@bloodsoul5 It will be very tough couple of years for you I imagine. Japan might as well go handheld only with the NGP and 3DS.

I dont really think the the two series are a fit. No real battlefields or wastelands in naruto. Battles are between handfuls of ninja. I thought Namco-Bandai held the licence anyhow? They have done a sterling job with the ultimate ninja series.

@MaliceMajorE15

Eh, to be rather technical, Naruto coooould make an entire army of shadow clones...

Hey! We get to play as villains and beat the sh** out of an ungodly amount of Narutos, until he finally learns "Believe it!" is not a catch phrase!

...because ninjas are supposed to charge into the middle of the battlefield. Uh...huh?

Maybe it's stupid of me to care about this kind of thing but I hope they differentiate it from the main series somehow like those weird Naruto "Dragon Blade" Wii games or whatever.

@Electrium You must be new to naruto. The main storyline right now if just that, ninjas fighting on the open battlefield.

I do not now, nor have/will I understand the appeal of Naruto. And I appreciate most anime.

I too appreciate most anime and have a vast collection, and as much as i'll be downvoted for it, i find Naruto the most appealing. Everyone is unique, have their own story to tell, the vastness of the overall story is quite incredible, and as the series moves into Shippuuden, the intensity of the story and the action increases 10 fold.

The problem with Naruto is that Manga >>>>>> Anime

OK, that's normal actually, but with Naruto is just TOO MUCH. They've added too many fillers in the Anime (very crappy fillers) that you lose continuity very easily. Besides, the animation has gone below the standard, I miss some epic battles with good drawings and animations (Naruto vs Pain was OK, though).

The Manga, on the hand, has been always of good quality, dialogs, drawings and fluidity work very well.

Agreed. The manga is better. However, the Drunken Lee fight scene is pretty epic animated.

P.S. To others: according to the manga, the ninjas in Naruto are not like the stereotypical ninjas you're used to (which is pretty obvious). They're more like warriors with powers that have the title ninja (ore, more accurately, shinobi).
