Got $10.00 and a few hours to kill? We can hardly think of a better thing to do than picking up Darksiders on Steam, which is on sale for the aforementioned 10 bucks until 10am PT on Monday, March 21. Seriously, think about it. Is there anything else that will give you so much bang for little?
Yeah, thought so -- though if you know how good a time Darksiders is, you may have already played it (or read this site, we guess), in which case we'd suggest you tell a friend. What kind of monster would keep that kind of knowledge to themself?

A great deal. I picked this up for $15 in the clearance bin at WalMart a while ago. It's a really great game.

It's a fantastic game. They could have called it Legacy of Zelda: Soul Reaver May Cry.

Two things:
#1: I think you meant "so much bang for so little" /grammar nazi
#2: Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, only $6 at Target.

I still maintain that this is the best Legend of Zelda game I've ever played.

Hmm, anybody know how the PC port stacks up? I've regretted the last 3 or 4 console ports that I grabbed on steam-sale-impulse-buy.

Great game. I rented it and loved it so much. I'll buy for $10 on PS3

@PointlessPuppies can't see the appeal of streaming a laggy video of a game when you could just play it on the pc you're streaming it on without lag, most pc's these days are good enough to play games at servicable graphics settings, and for people without pcs there's consoles which offer a superior experience too

Nobody cares about Onlive except a vocal minority who enjoy terrible looking graphics filled with compression artefacts and laggy gameplay.
It's like dating a model but one that was repeatedly punched in the face by a truck. Some weird people would find that attractive and tell us all off for not liking her, but we know we're right.

Dang... I don't have the 15 GB to spare right now. Oh well, I'm sure it'll go on sale again by the time I finish some of these games and clear off enough space.

@MrKlorox Or you could just buy the game now and install it when you have room for it.

My biggest gripe with this game is the challenge-esque rooms, the ones where you have to play four or five of them to help open of the big door golems. I rarely enjoy bonus challenges rooms, so having them forced into the flow of the story was a little irritating.
The game does have a pretty interesting weapon and combat system though and some of the finishing moves are awesome. I should probably get back to it sometime...

Go on sale for the xbox 360 and ill buy it. I forgot about this game but I still want to play it especially after constantly seeing people say that it reminds them of The Legend of Zelda.

Awesome game. Got it first for PS3 when the 360 version had framerate issues at launch, then got the 360 version once it was patched, and now I guess I'll have to get it for PC and playthrough again. Can't wait for the sequel!

I loved the game on the 360, which is the only thing I have capable of playing it right now. But it has tech issues, including the frame rate one mentioned plus the kingpin of all unforgivable bugs: occasional lockups, requiring hard reboot. (No, it's not a dying Xbox. I play other games for days on end without issue. It's not the disc. The game is installed to the HDD.) The PS3 was the lead platform and it has none of these problems. So that's the one to get if you have the hardware. I can't understand getting it again for the 360, really. It's single-player only.

Since you just reiterated your same post, I'll reiterate mine.

Pretty good game. I wouldn't say that I loved it since there are very few games I feel that way about, but It was a mostly enjoyable experience with a few exceptions. I guess my major gripe was that after a while the combat got to feel repetitive. This is the same problem I had with God of War. Button mashing is okay, but after 14 hours it can become tiresome.
My other problem was the forced challenge rooms that are inserted into the game at specific points. You are tasked with completing several of these rooms in order to break some kind of spell and you cannot continue until you do so. I've seen this in other games, but I don't recall it ever being forced on the player. Here it feels like the developer's way of artificially increasing the game's length.
Despite these problems, it's still a well-made and enjoyable game. I'd highly recommend it at $15 or less.
