Classic tactics RPGs have always been really tough for me, but thanks to the Chariot Tarot system (I think its called) in this I have been having a great time with it, and think I'm close to 40 hours in. Well worth picking up, if you have a bit of trepidation for tactics based RPGs, still give this a shot.

Agreed. I would have put this one down a while back if it wasn't for that. Call me a 'casual' but I don't have time to grind or start levels over.

Bloody hell fire that's expensive for you guys!
I just bought it in the UK, the collectors edition no less, for £17. What's that like $25? I didn't know PSP games were so pricey over there.

Is this a sequel to the gba game Tactics Ogre: KoL? That is my favorite turn based strategy rpg of all time. It felt so awesome to level up a guy and buff the **** out of him, then *poof* turn him into a weapon for another guy to use. People fighting people with people weapons. Damn right.

@Poor Tom
according to wikipedia, its two games sr the gameboy story line.
I wasnt aware they were still making TO games. This is great news!

I was always sad that the DS never got a TO game, maybe the 3ds or ngp will.

I don't think they let you SnapShot guys anymore - they've completely redesigned the gameplay system, mostly for the better. Dumped 75 hrs into it already.

I really wish more games like this would come out on the iPad (no not the iPhone) been waiting for a good tactics RPG on it for a long time and FFT is taking a long time to come out.

YES! These are the types of games that would be a perfect fit. So tired of attempting to navigate with fake joysticks.

I have to say that game title is still too fruity to be taken seriously. If they just left it as Tactics Ogre, that would've been cooler.

You have the rock band Queen to thank for that. The name comes from the song Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together). A couple (NOT ALL) of the games from the series also take their names from queen songs.

@Jack Spicer Well, if you want to be pedantic, since the entire series takes its name from a Queen song, that means all of the titles are Queen derived.

The subtitles stopped being Queen based after Matsuo left Quest, however.

For all those buying this: Catiua is a total babe, albeit clingy, and she's mine.

Can anyone who played this game tell me what part of the game this screenshot comes from?

Port Omish. It's very deep into the game, this one might be after the game is beaten. There are a bunch of additional quests to do once the game has ended.

Why did they have to release this game right before the NGP comes out? I want to play it so badly, but I can't bring myself to buy a handheld that's going to be obsolete by the end of the year!

@gangcar The PSN download should work on the NGP from what I hear. I just bought Tactics Ogre from PSN so I wouldn't have to worry about outdated UMDs.
By the way, TOTALLY worth it. The game is fantastic.

@ddealss Who's "WE". Is there anything as annoying as people who don't have a certain console say "Make it for MY device!!!!! WE DESERVE IT!"
