Just get them to remake every game they have ever made, it seems faster than getting them to re-release things.

Still waiting for a FFVI remake in 3D

Ah, such a great game. I still have my copy of it, yet it always seems to freeze at a certain spot on my PS3 EVERYTIME.

Perhaps I'll download this instead of using my disc.

Highly underrated. This game is in my top 5 RPG's of all time. I miss the hand drawn sprite games. Vanillaware's Odin Sphere and Muramasa are the only titles that have gone down that path.

I miss the old Square, nowadays, their games lack the charm of yesteryear.

Man, I seem to have developed some sort of facial paralysis where I can't stop myself from smiling since reading this headline.

Legend of Mana has long been a guilty pleasure of mine for a number of years - Ever since a friend of mine hooked me up with an import copy many years ago.

I keep a modified PSone in my bedroom drawer just for such occasions as when I want to watch the awesome opening intro. I really hope the digital version makes it's way to the UK PSN store.

Two player, it was doable... with one player the combat is too boring.

Oh, to be 15 again during the Summer of 2000. Sit inside in the A/C, playing Legend of Mana and listening to Warren G on cassette. I believe I will re-create this experience later in the week, only this time without the A/C, and with Warren G on my Zune HD.

Two Squenix games in the classics store in the span of a month?

Clearly one of the signs of the apocalypse!

Legend was (is?) kind of enjoyable to play, but I certainly would have like it better if it had a cohesive progression. A lot of the time I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing.

Who cares?! Kung-fu bunnies, psycho teddy bears, and crazy knifefirds!!
(but I totally get what you mean though...)

Also one of the very few RPG's played where you could main nunchaku.

I haven't liked a single Mana game since this one. It and the Shining Series has gone way downhill over the past six years.

I'd pay good money to have Shining Force 3, the full and complete game on PSN or XBLA.

"Somehow, Square Enix seems to have been convinced to actually release its old games on PSOne Classics."

No kidding, we've spent the almost the entire lifetime of the PS3 getting the occasional Final Fantasy game and now within the span of 30 days they've release Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve, and now Legend of Mana.

Maybe I can start having hope that Brave Fencer Musashi, Bushido Blade, SaGa Frontier, and the PSOne ports of FF Anthology, Origins, and Chronicles will make it over now.

I wish Microsoft could convince them to release their back catalog of games via XBLA. I would buy everything from the SNES era (again since I already own all the carts) and a lot of the PSone era games as well. I don't have or desire a PS3 so they need to be on XBLA and they need to have achievements to get my attention.

@Twist I disagree completely, I need these things available on portables or why bother? I already have or had the chance to get and play them on tv systems. If they'd get these things on DSiware, I'd be just as happy, but PSN so I can play it on my PSP is fine also.

Like many of the commenters here, I absolutely adored this game. And I can proudly say I was one of the handful of dorks pioneering the mastery of weapon enchanting. It's basically been mastered now, with a huge assortment of 999+ dmg weapons, but back then my 458 damage spear was considered really impressive. =o

Ah, i have to agree with previous comments. Highly underrated rpg. The world was so colorful and quests so light and frivolous that I could play for hours. The main story wasnt always cohesive, yeah, but i loved that it seemd to have several major stories. Especially the Jumi! Such a lovely game. I too miss the hand painted artful sprites. Which is why i keep a close clutch on my Odin Sphere as well.

My original copy was scratched by a launch PS2 (remember how you could play with PSOne emulation settings on the PS2? Yeah, I changed some stuff in excitement and it grinded into a lot of my discs with circular scratches.

Day one buy!

I absolutely adored (and still do), Secret of Mana, one of my all time favorite games. I eagerly awaited this and was a day 1 purchase, but found it to be a disapointing followup. Never did get all that far into it. Perhaps this will convince me to give it another try.
