Microsoft's Major Nelson has dropped a note on his Twitter account that the Deal of the Week promotion will now roll out each Tuesday instead of Monday. The Major noted further that the weekly promotion will now run each week from Tuesday until the following Tuesday.
To help cement this drastic change in your brain, here's an example. This week's deal is Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode One, which will be discounted from 1200 points ($15) to 800 ($10). When will it be available? Tuesday! That's right! When will the deal expire? Next Tuesday! Oh man, you guys are good at this.

hahahahaha, 800 points for Sonic 4 - shouldn't that have been the launch price?
I'll pass.
As for the Tuesdays for deals - looks like Microsoft is trying to compete more head-on with Sony. Stupid idea, since Sony consistantly has better (and more) deals every Tuesday (and that's not including the Premium membership stuff, to which I'm not a part). I'm not "pro-Sony" but Microsoft really needs to learn about how to make a deal (though, in the last couple weeks, they've had a larger deals section, so they are catching up!)
Now if only Nintendo would learn what a deal is. If Nintendo was a game show, they'd be called "No Deal or No Deal" hosted by Howie Mandel.

Upvote. Microsoft has really, really bad deals 9/10 times. I mean, if your idea of a deal is discounting clothing for players avatars that are overpriced in the first place, GTFO. Not to mention they discount the same games repeatedly.
No, Microsoft. After three practically consecutive and definitively identical deals in a 3 month period, I still don't want LC&TGoL. And I won't want it when you put it on sale next week, either. Sheesh.
Case in point:
Anyone remember what their deal was for Christmas day last year? Yeah.

Wait, when does the Deal of the Week start now? And how long does it last?
They didn't explain this well at all.
