Xbox Live April schedule: Bad Company 2 DLC, Comic Jumper discounts

Microsoft has revealed some of the content and deals coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace in early April, which include quite a few discounts. It kicks off this week with the launch of DLC for Mass Effect 2 and You Don't Know Jack, as well as some discounts on Comic Jumper, Deadliest Warrior and the "Dead Money" DLC for Fallout: New Vegas.

Those battlefield DLCs are a STEAL! I still can't get enough of that game after 200+ hours

At first I was like :D when I saw that there was Bad company 2 DLC mentioned.
But then I was like :( when I realized it was all stuff I'd already bought...

Vietname is worth more then 1200. So at 600 you'd be silly not to get it.

It is worth more than 1200MSP since it's pretty much a whole new game just running from the BC2 disc and using your current ranks

Man, I eagerly gobbled up Fallout 3 DLC, but I just never felt that invested or 'into' New Vegas. Felt like I was just putting myself through the paces just to finish it. Dunno if I'd even buy Dead Money for $2.50

i thought i was the only one that didnt really get into new vegas. everyone else seems to think it was good, but it crashed so many times on me, i felt like i was beta testing it or something. fallout 3 was sooo good and i had high hopes for it. oh well

Roosterteeth had pictures of their clothing that's coming out for Live avatars. I assumed that was coming out this April.

Going to buy comic jumper on friday but i'm waiting too see if there is a GOTY edition or something that has all future plus dead money DLC for New Vegas in one pack like they did with Fallout 3

@StormChaser91 That's what I plan on doing as well. I'm much more a fan of Bethesda's Elder Scroll series than Fallout; the former I can't wait to get and the later I could wait for a game of the year edition :-p

@dragunrising yea, i haven't played the games besides Fallout 3 from them, but can't wait for the old republic too come out for PC this year

@StormChaser91 The Old Republic hopefully comes out this year. Its done when its done and I'm OK with that. I wouldn't mind if it also released for consoles, otherwise I have to play it on low settings :-p haha

Onslaught mode for 800 points has been one of my bigger buyer's remorse cases. So little content. Could hardly find any one to play it with even on the week it came out, but that may be just my bad luck. All it was good for was teaching me how to actually use a helicopter effectively in multiplayer, which i have to say, is worth 2 bucks. Hope these deals bring some much needed resurgence to the game.

What do you mean about the heli? Is there a tutorial part? Or is there a heli available at the spawn and you can just fool around on your own? Cuz that would definitely be helpful since you can't do private matches to practice unless you have 8 people minimum.

@FlashJS Yah there is a spawn heli on atacama desert in onslaught. Its a good way to train if your a heli noob.

I'm still unsure of whether to get Comic Jumper. I played the demo and though it was good but not great. Can anyone give me their full game impressions?

The last Mass Effect DLC comes out... I purposely waited for all the DLC to release before I played it again. Pretty excited :-)

For $5, don't hesitate. It's pretty funny and there's quite a bit of variety in the look of the game. I personally never found the shooting to get old, though a lot of other people found it to be repetitive and a little juvenile. I bought it for $15 and don't regret the purchase. It's not an elite XBLA game, but it's still a very good one.

I picked it up at launch for full 15 bucks and didn't regret it. The game is hilarious and IMO, gameplay itself is good, even though some spots might drag on a little, or in "professional gaming journalism" terms, overstay its welcome. Regardless, it's quite varied in both artstyle and gameplay, it's not an easy game (even though the checkpoint system is waaaaaaaaay too forgiving, thus making it easy) and, I must repeat myself on this one, hysterical. I can even understand why not everyone would be please with it at full price, but for 5 bucks, no gamer would look back.

@dragunrising - I absolutely loved Comic Jumper. I highly recommend it, especially at that price.

Raskulls is fun, I bought it last week and have pretty much beat it, definitely worth 5 bucks and hopefully there will be more people online after his sale

How many episodes come with the You Don't Know Jack DLC?

@343 Guilty Fart - 73 I believe... It's in the 70 range. I just don't remember the specific number.

Each DLC pack contains 10 additional episodes.

@Mcmax3000 Sorry, I read that as 'with the YDKJ disc'. My mistake.

Hrmm... Pretty week month for me =/ Guess none of my spacebucks go to MS for April. That's fine, time to bond with my 3DS and Dissidia 012 some. FF4 Complete on PSP as well.

And I always have about 20 some console games that I got on the cheap sitting in my backlog untouched...

Looks like I'll be picking up the Vietnam add-on for BFBC2. I was going to spend my points on ME2 Arrival, but after reading Justin's review I'll wait for it to be the deal of the week.
