Direct2Drive knocking 15% off March's best sellers
8
In celebration of, um, March, Direct2Drive is reducing the price of this month's top fifteen games by fifteen percent. The list of titles includes the likes of Dead Space 2, Rift, Shogun 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm. Fifteen percent amounts to a reasonably hefty $9 discount on $60 titles and around $7.50 on $50 titles, and it also has the effect of lowering Magicka's already ridiculously low $10 price to just $8.50.
Head over to Direct2Drive to see the full list of titles, and enter the promo code "MARCHMAYHEM" at checkout to receive the discount.

Not that great a deal, considering that they run 20% promotions almost every weekend

I hope you realize that its only a 5% difference. Also, there is the possibility that these games may not be included in that "weekend 20%" sale.

Not likely considering their 20% off sales are on everything on the store, including preorders.
And theyve had like 4 of them since xmas.

Is this an ad for direct2drive? Because a simple google search gives you a 20% off coupon with CAG that works on all games on the site.

Guess I should have emailed in last weekends sale, which had all games 20% off, and all racing games 50-75% off.
I snagged Need for Speed Hot Pursuit for $12.

That weekend sale on racing games was great. I have no clue why Joystiq is reporting the significantly-worse "sale" of a month-long coupon on any game. Seriously, the MARCHMADNESS coupon code doesn't only apply to the best sellers only.

I don't understand how you get significantly-worse from a %5 difference.
I'd say that Joystiq was doing a good thing by reporting this as it increases awareness to the site and their promotions.
