Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): With 61 out of 62 Achievements gathered in Mass Effect 2, I've taken it out of my "actively playing" disc caddy and returned it to its case in the office; now, it's time to finish up BioWare's far less successful sequel, Dragon Age 2. I'm enjoying my respite from Kirkwall in the Deep Roads but, if Twitter is to be believed, I'll be back in Kirkwall in no time.

Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I've settled on three general gaming themes for the weekend: Racing, Shooting, Fighting. I'll either be found on the track in Shift 2 and Ridge Racer 3D, squeezing off rounds in this copy of Crysis 2 that arrived just in time, or relearning the war of the warrior in Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition. Of course, there's the chance I'll get so absorbed by Death Rally on my iPad that I won't do any of that. It could happen.
Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) My compy is in the shop, so no League of Legends for me. That said, I've got a brand new 40" 1080p TV, and I think the denizens of Dead Space 2 are calling. Also need to work on building a new joystick.

I think it's the best DW yet.

But it's also still totally Dynasty Warriors. The combat system isn't as suck yas it was in 6 and the story mode's actually pretty neat.

That's what I did.

fiddling around with the 3DS, some GT5, and maybe some pokemon White if I have the time. I'll also be playing some real life hockey tomorrow which is awesome.

i've got plently of games i've got too play especially from the Deal of The Week on xboxlive, Costume Quest, Comic Jumper, A kingdom for Keflings, and need to 100% Medal of Honor Ps3 and Prince of Persia he Forgotten Sands on the xbox before i can send them back too gamefly,

Playing with the 3DS...but wish I was playing the sequel to Fool's Errand. It was supposed to be released after 8 years of development this month, but got pushed back until December this week.

Sometimes I wish Mass Effect and Dead Space would make subtle references to each other since they're both EA published titles. Sure they're set hundreds of years apart but it's still a thought.

What if for the next cross-game promotion (like the Ser Isaac of Clarke armor in DA2) they had something like N7 Armor for Isaac in Dead Space 3 if you bought Mass Effect 3 new?

Haha good point. My girlfriend mentions all the time how mass effect and dead space look somewhat similar. Crossovers like that never happen unfortunately.

Yeah I doubt I'd see any crossovers, but the armor unlocks from other games still seems plausible. I find games are doing it more often now

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and F-Zero GX for me probably.

Perhaps I'll finish off Uncharted 2 this evening. Threw myself back into over the last week, should be almost done. Blasting through it kinda makes it overly apparent how lame the shooting can kinda get. Seems like you can just shoot some of these guys a million times. If not that, maybe scrape a few achievements out of Fable II or New Vegas or something.

Speaking of Fable II, for those who really liked it and then played III, I would like to know whether I'm guaranteed to like III if I really dug II?

@MarkezJM I loved Fable II but part III just felt weird. I never got around finishing it because the story felt weak to me. Doesn't make you feel like a dick for killing a whole town like the sequel did ;)

@MarkezJM Yeah Fable 3 is pretty weak, especially compared to 2. Just finished a second playthough of it and it didn't get any better. The plot feels like it's being rushed through and the major selling point of actually being a ruler and how that pans out? Well, let's just say, it wasn't what I thought it would be. When it first came out I was pretty high on it but now I have to say, I think it is the worst of the three. If you can pick it up cheaply then I'd say it might be worth it as the humor and scriptwriting are very good but on the whole you're not missing much if you don't play it.

I'm playing some MvC3. Everyone's hating on the game for valid reasons but I still love it. The only things I hate about it are the character choices (Why She-Hulk and not Ghost Rider, why not Taskmaster's UDON costume?) and Captivision's approach to DLC

But the game is fun when you have friends that get serious with it and try to forgo button mashing for actual skill

Yeah, the arcade games were a steal.

Can't pull myself away from Torchlight on XBLA. Made the mistake of starting my first character on normal. Since then, I've started the rest of my characters out on very hard.

Also, playing the music video for "Machine Civilization" quite a bit on youtube.

With the release of the final DLC, I have decided that this is the weekend that I will finally beat mass effect 2. Once that has been done, I will hopefully begin Assassins Creed Brotherhood. If all else fails and I don't do any of that, i just bought a new iPad 1 on the cheap and I'll hopefully take that out for a spin. What's the name of that game by chair that's supposed to be really good?

Finish Shank on normal. Its ok I guess for a button masher.

Play a few rounds of ranked annex in gears 2 as usual.

Possibly start crackdown 2; been meaning to awhile.

Not wanting to give up Pokemon White entirely, i bumped it down to Tuesdays and Thursdays, otherwise focusing on Pilotwings, where my goal is to unlock the Diamond missions

Killzone 3 multiplayer and might get Heavy Rain.

Playing too much Tactics Ogre on PSP, I'll keep doing that and I'll play a bit of everything on PS3:

-Got to finish Reverie dlc
-Some casuals with SSF4 and MvC3

... and see how farther I can go in Hard Corps uprising, till I get frustrated at how difficut the game is, pretty fun though.

Dynasty Warriors 7 this whole weekend. Already almost finished one kingdoms Story Mode already.

Playing through Crysis 2 on the PC and it's great -- along with Pilotwings Resort & Super Street Fighter IV 3D on 3DS and Monster Tale (SOOO GOOOOD) on DS. Also, hoping to play Blazblue: Continuum Shift on PS3 too as soon as I find a copy.

SOCOM 4 Beta, while GT5 B-Spec runs in the other room.

Big anime gathering at my place w/friends, so that will eat some time - Then catching up on homework I've neglected all week watching LotR extendeds, but after all of that I intend to finish the post-game scenarios in Pokemon White and possibly start Dissidia 012.

Playing Resistance 2 co op with some friends. And it makes me wish for two things:

1. That R3 has the same focus on co op, because its super awesome!
2. That PS3 gets party chat. I can imagine other players find it annoying with us blabbering in Norwegian.

Anyhow, Resistance 2 is just one of my ongoing second play-through games where I try to get as many trophies as possible on games I already finished long ago. But like Bad Company that I played just before it I'm not going to get the Platinum trophy because of the damn 10000 kills requirement. Why do they even make achievements/trophies like that?

At work this weekend so any free time I get will be on Tiny Wings, Minotron 2112 and might pick up Death Rally. Maybe also Espgaluda 2 in preparation for Deathsmiles.

Probably playing Minecraft *again*, but I expect I'll sneak in some TF2... and I might even play HL2: Deathmatch.

I can also stare at the steam Portal 2 page, waiting for Valve to give us a release date.

Rayman 3D + the usual fiddling with 3DS internal apps.

Donkey Kong Country Returns maybe.

Probably get some Minecraft in anyway.

A funny thing happened on the way to play Dragon Age II... I started up another campaign of Dragon Age: Origins. Do I fear disappointment? Am I just enjoying the first one that much? Yes and yes.

Also playing Crysis 2 on the side. Ludwig and I must be on the same schedule. Yes Ludwig... we're hungry. Time to make a sandwich.

Rockband 2, RDR, Mass Effect 2, need to finish Crackdown 2( GT: Xupmatoih, needs help!) Some Bad Company 2...

Oh and I Probably won't actually play any of those cause I need to finish Pilotwings Resort, I got all the Locations already, but I can't 3 star the Three Minute Glide!! >_<
Oh and AR Games!! xD

Since I picked up the final Mass Effect dlc and New Vegas: Dead Money, I should be playing those. But dammit, I gotta beat the last boss on Torchlight first.

Cliff Johnson has been working on the sequel to The Fool's Errand for eight years. He just contacted his preorder folks with an update. If you're looking for a good interview, he'd be a great one.

I like how Dead Space 2 is always on their to play list :)

I got 40 minutes in yesterday and was killed by that stupid 1st stasis guy so I just stopped

The only thing that stands between me and 100% achievement completion of New Vegas is 5353 points of food healing, 50 pockets, 11 games of caravan and the NCR's defenses of Hoover Dam. After that I should finally be able to wrest myself from her jealous claws and finally give some deserved attention to Bulletstorm, KZ3, WoW, Crysis 2, B&EHD,and DS2 Severed. Of all the games between January and now, only Dragon Age 2 has really been able to pull me away from New Vegas. Man, I hope anymore DLC doesn't come out for a while.

i just bought the alan wake DLC on an impulse so i'll prolly restart alan wake with halo hockey in between. fun times
