Wait...you're still expecting something from the Virtual Console at this point?

@PointlessPuppies, Who me? Nope. I gave up hope on the virtual console ever since they released the three hundredth Wonder Boy game for the Sega Master System. Oh, and did ever I tell you how awesome that picture is?

The man's got a point. You realize Chrono Trigger and Mega Man X just came out in Japan, right? I think we'll see them here soon enough.

I could never get in to any Bonk games. I remember it being super-hyped up by EGM when it first came out for the TG16. Some people even claimed that it was even better than Mario games at the time. I tried several versions, but I was never impressed and the gameplay never hooked me to play it for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Jesus Christ, it's about damn time they released Super Bonk. How long ago was the previous game in the series released? 2007?

I remember renting Super Bonk so many times as a kid. Always got stuck at this strange, vacuum cleaner boss in some factory/techno level.

Wow, I never realized Bonk was on anything other than TG-16/Turbo Duo. I loved them and have them all, including Air Zonk.

Seriously? Are there not enough locations to play Chrono Trigger? Just get the DS version, dude.

@The Only Girl

I have it. I mostly want it on VC for the Woolsey translation.

Like I said before, region discrimination. Either our region either gets highly anticipated VC games two millennium after their release in Europe/Japan, or it doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of ever being released in the US/Canada at all. Thank goodness for other legitimate alternative methods

Now, I never played Bonk, but looking at that picture, I am going to assume some of his enemies include penises with wings made of cheese.

How sweet for these companies that these ancient games still provide them with a revenue stream, even if you can't swing a virtual dead cat online without hitting roms and emulators.

BOOOOONK!
Haven't played that since the Amiga. I hope they didn't change it too much, was a definite rival to more mainstream console platformers back then.

Regarding the canceled Hudson title, it wasn't really canceled, those titles were just pulled from the release lists because of Hudson's total buyout by Konami

Most of them are still alive
