Battlefield Play4Free deploys launch trailer, screens
18
Battlefield Play4Free is available now on the internets for PC (a Mac version seems unlikely). Watch this new trailer and then take the hectic shooter, which combines elements of Battlefield 2 and Bad Company, for a test drive. It says it's free right there in the title.

Now if only this game was good.. If you already have Bad Company 2 or something, you are going to find this game to be really bad.

Played it, it's okay. Just pretty much meh-tacular. Not bad but not great. We'll see how the leveling system works out. The tech looks really dated though. I know they are going for massive permutation of market but it looks like a 5 to 10 year old game (that is not in-game footage.)

@Diebold
That makes it understandable, just not acceptable.

@Diebold I know but the thing is DICE and EA have done other titles since then using similar technology that looks better. Okay, they're going for a more "real world" feel then Battlefield: Heroes but they couldn't have maybe built some tech ground up? Or even used some of the technology from Battlefield: 1943 that looked far superior to this.
It's not bad, it may be fun, but it's just not got graphical oomph. Let's just hope it makes up for it in game play Here's the thing, free or not, I have a ton of options now adays in what I can play and far too many games to choose from. I'm not going to play a game just because it looks splashy but I'm going to play the one that gives me the best overall package. In my time playing the game so far Battlefield Play 4 Free has been okay just not wowed me. I'll give it some more time and if it's not got a lot to offer then I'll just move on.

@Redeemer True enough, I just hope they put enough in to it to make it stick around and be worth while. Time will tell. :-)

I was invited to and played closed beta. I like free games and this one was boring. People die too easy and every gun has sniper rifle range. Battlefield heroes is better to play for fun because you can do a chicken dance while t bagging someone.

@refried beans I still like BF2 - because you can teabag someone without doing a chicken dance.

@refried beans I agree with your assessment of the game. There are lots of little problems with it that add up.
Far, far better than this is BC2, so just buy that. Or the real BF2 if you can't run BC2.

You are far off. Why does my age matter to you? Aww, I see what's going on, you're a troll. This is my first dealings with a troll. I am guessing you suck at video games but its obvious you are a good troll.
