It's sad how I find these hacks infinitely more entertaining than any of the games Microsoft has been pushing out of the Kinect.

Yes Dr Drew because every developer in the past had the ability to crack new forms of game play on new gaming devices. Sure these hacks look neat but for christ sakes give the developers some time. If nothing else they are giving them new ideas for new styles and ideas for games they never thought of.

I don't know how long this degree of impatience has been in the game community. Maybe always I just never seen it until now. The kinect is looking to last much longer than the 360 will and expand much more beyond it.

Can we at least wait till E3 arrives before we hear another tired same ol joke about how the hackers are better than the games that are out now?

by the time E3 rolls around, the Kinect will have been on the market for about 8 months. how long are we supposed to wait to make fun this thing???

What makes you think DrDrew is even joking? Kinect hasn't release a -single- thing that makes me say "Wow, I wish I had that." But every time someone teaches their connect to open neighbor's garage doors or express human emotions of love and affection, I read the article.

It's fascinating to see what the machine is capable of; it's yet to be engaging to see what people are trying to take your money to accomplish on the system.

@DrDrew Pinsky Yeah, this hack sure looks alot better than other Kinect games, like, oh say Child of Eden.

@BizarroPete See, I didn't even know about that until you mentioned it, because I see a lot more news for Kinect hacks than I do about actual game releases. I can understand why too, the hacks are cool.

You mean the Kinect can be used to play games now?

I still don't see kinect as a viable means of hardcore gaming. I mean, what activity (except martial arts and dancing) is done without holding a tool of some sort? Driving = steering wheel, shooting = gun, etc.

Its just more natural feeling to use a controller for most game actions.

At the same time, when I watch these kinect hacks, I see people having fun. Which means, on a certain level, the kinect is actually a success (fun is why it was made).
