Don't worry everyone, there are some kind folks on torrent sites keeping the dream alive! Seriously, though, it's really not at all hard to get a copy of this online.. stick it to Sega, do yourself a favor, and hit that search button.

Sega: If we don't make a profit with the valuable franchise, no one can ever do anything with it again, even if its free to play.

Sega = the dog that doesn't want a bone you're about to give it, so you give it to another dog and then the first dog suddenly is interested in the bone because it sees the second one is enjoying it.

Children do this all the time as well.

Yes, I'm calling Sega DogChildren.

This is a shame, although we only have Bomberlink's word for it that they tried to sort it out with SEGA's legal department. But I understand the legal reasons for it; such is life. I just hope that this may jog them into reinvigorating this great franchise. I know, it is too much to hope for. Rather we will have to suffer more Sonic re-boots as Sega keeps flogging that blue hedgehog continuously.

Did Sega have the right to do this? Sure. But it's still a cheap shot. Really, now, are you doing anything with the Streets of Rage franchise anymore? I sure haven't seen any intentions of Sega to do anything worthwhile with much of any of their older properties, unless it's to bundle them all in a retro collection (again).

Really, Sega should pick this up from those guys and market it as DLC on XBLA or something. It'd be the right thing to do, and the quality is definitely up to snuff. C'mon, Sega. Do the right thing.
