Umm.... Using a zombie for cover?.. Im sure that zombie would just Om Nom Nom on your arm then you would get shot in the face by whoever you were trying to protect yourself from....

"Taking a zombie hostage? Really? That's how you plan to negotiate with Mr. Leon S. Kennedy? Good luck with that."

had to literally laugh out loud at that after looking at the pic also.. made my day.

That zombie is not really a hostage I think. More like a very handy disposable shield. ;)

@Obienator

theoretically, a zombie would make a horrible shield. seeing as how they are so easy to kill (going by most zombie movies ive seen).. bullets would just go through its body. but uhh like the first poster said.. that zombie would just gnaw on his arm.

@The BZA These are fresh zombies. Your confusing these with 2 week old zombies which are very easy to shoot through.

But that's a zombie cop, who more than likely have a Kevlar vest under his shirt. I agree tho, gotta watch them teeth!

@Obienator

Then why not just kill the zombie cop and take his Kevlar?

If Leon is in this but not Claire I think I shall be annoyed.

Actually, Jill and Carlos could be in it too...

Uh, using a zombie for cover wasn't even the strangest thing I saw in those screens...

...what's up with the "Corned Beef store?" Since when do people open up stores solely dedicated to the sale of corned beef?

Talk about a niche market...

A finer world than we live in....

Though it looks like it might just be a warehouse than a storefront.

@houser

Why would a warehouse have 'Corned Beef' written above the door? lol

None of them look like Hunk. WTF... :-(
I always said I wanted a RE game where u played as Hunk all the way through. Disappointed.

hahaha...me too. I remember frantically running away from it, then stumbling into the one that appears opposite, which proceeded to cleave off Chris' head.

Hopefully this fantastic article doesn't attract RE hatred from fans who might claim Operation Raccoon City to be an abomination to the series b/c it's a team-based shooter and not survival horror-esque a la RE1 (although no offense if you are that type of fan). While I love the early PSone RE games, it's 2011 not 1996. If Capcom didn't innovate to keep RE fresh, people'd be complaining that the franchise is getting stale. I for one love RE (and loved RE5) and am totally stoked and looking forward to this!!!

I still to this day prefer the originals over 4 and 5. My problem isn't with them keeping to the same formula, my problem is that they did it horribly in my opinion. THIS however, looks very interesting to me.

You CAN have action and still be a survival game. I'm hoping this game does it, and does it well.

Why does Umbrella care so much about Leon? At this point, he's just some rookie cop. Nothing special about him. Isn't it by the time he discovers Umbrella's secrets, he's no longer on the streets? I don't remember. It's been a long time since I've played RE2.
