@lockwoodisbored Dude. This is for charity. And you're giving everybody the "heads up" on the "minimum transaction" possible?

Shame on you.

Would you rather see a bunch of people only give one cent instead of thirty?

I felt kind of bad last time since I paid $10 and only gave it to Child's Play. This time I'll pay $10 to the devs and site.

I purchase the first two bundles about the time they released. So I will probably invest in this third bundle as well. Will have to wait this time around though, since my wallet is a black hole at the moment.

@Orresnei Pay a little bit now, up the money later when you get moneys. Theres an option for that.

@ovoon I will consider doing so. I do want to contribute a sizeable amount, enough so that both the developers and charitable foundations get some actual income on this. I think I donated 20 bucks the last time, and would probably go for that same amount (or somewhat more) this time around. Not only because I think the games usually are worth it, but because I really believe in a business model that skips the middle man, and goes directly to the consumer. I bought Minecraft and Mount & Blade for that very same reason.

@lockwoodisbored

oh is it that time again?! where we get to act like we are better then one another because i donated 10 dollars and you donated 5 dollars... yea? well.... GROW THE FCUK UP... who gives a sh!t who paid how much. You get to name your own price, so if someone wants to donate 50 cents then let him, or is there a minimum that is required so that they are looked at as equal to those who donated above the arbitrary number and thus getting upvoted and well received by a bunch of smug gamers.

The people who donate the most (in the 1000's) only do so to spam their bullsh!t websites on the front page to get hits and make back what they donated twice as much . Does that make them better or worse then the kid who donated 5 dollars or even 1 dollar?!? I'll let you answer that.

i have donated well over 100 dollars this past month on Japan relief alone and not to receive some stupid virtual hat. I guess I'm almost as good and pure as the pope himself by your definition. right... right?!

*donates 1dollar*

stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

@PR0F3TA How is it a bad thing that people and web sites use the top donators list as a commercial space? If the top contributors list help increase the donation amount, that would be a good thing, no? Seeing as how nearly all the money goes towards development of new awsome games, or charitable causes, getting the biggest possible amount of donations seems somewhat more important than not having people use the list as a commercial space. But what do I know.

How strange, just a few days ago I was thinking about buying Trine.

Yay, more indie games to fill my Steam list.

Hey guys, just an oddly specific heads up for Mac users.

Trine won't run unless you have the most recent version of Snow Leopard. It will not run on 10.5.x at all. I'm not sure if Shadowgrounds has the same requirement, but it might considering it's the same developor/engine components.

Also Shadowgrounds and the sequel on Steam don't have SteamPlay, so it's Windows only. You'll have to use the direct download instead.

Still totally buying this, I love the Humble Bundle.

Can there be an update to this bundle where we also get a soundtrack of this guy doing famous impressions? That's help raise the average price.

In other news, not sure if these games appeal to me, but then once the HIB2 got HIB1 alongside it, I felt guilty for how much I spent, so could even it out now, and give Child's Play a help.

Would seem well timed, I'm currently on placement in a Children's ward, so can ask if the consultants have ever heard of Child's Play.

@Orresnei That's not bad. Not really. But companies who will only donate because it's good PR? People who will tell everyone else about their donations because it makes them look good? That's disgusting.

I love these bundles, I bought about 12 of the first one and gave it to all of my friends for the holidays, and a couple of the second one as well. With this one supporting steam and onlive, I'll have to grab a couple for my friends again.

great way to support indie devs who make things other than saturated FPS out there, and worthy games that are actually worth playing

I didn't think so. He has a valid point. Nobody wants to see someone bragging about how much they donated because it's annoying and pointless.
