FF4 on PSP also includes "Interludes" as a mode other than the main game and After Years. I don't know if that was originally part of the After Years or if it's something else, but it looks pretty neat.

I'm sorry, but I'm not paying $5 for a genesis game, especially one I have, and that gets rereleased just about every year. $2, maaaayyybbe $3 max. $5 is crazy.

You can't get a meal for less than $5. $5 is less than an hour of work of minimum wage. Candy bars are $1 at 711. Are you really complaining that $5 is too much for ANYTHING permanent?

I don't know, that's not too bad.

Besides I don't see it as "$5 for an old game". I see it as "$5 for a game made a long time ago that's better than 99% of new games released today at 100x the budget".

I picked up Sonic's Genesis Collection for $15 the other day. I think it was worth it. It has over forty games including the Sonics. I think that is a far smarter investment if you're a fan of the classics. Five dollars simply for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 really is too much money.

I wish I hadn't bought Dissidia 2. If I knew they were going to cut the content in half and periodically sell the rest back to me I wouldn't have bothered with it.

Is Final Fantasy 4 Complete worth getting? I'm a sucker for Square games and still have yet to complete FF9 when i bought it earlier on the PSN but is the 30 dollar price tag worth it?

Final Fantasy 4 was one of my favourite FF games, right behind 6, but I personally didn't much care for the 3D FFs when I revisited them.

As long as you don't mind the fact that it's very SNESy graphics (and you shouldn't, those characters pack boatloads of emotion and depth despite the graphics) then I'd say it's totally worth it. I'd get it if I had a PSP.

I was hoping that since Dino Crisis 2 was released today, they would give Dino Crisis 1 away for free with PS Plus. It would make sense, if the 1st game was free, more people would play it, and then they would be more likely to pick up the 2nd game.

There's no way to play PSN PSP games on just a PS3 is there. I want to play FF4 CC so so bad, but not bad enough to buy a PSP for one game.

Considering the PSP has a better library than the PS3 itself, and most of the games can be bought dirt cheap pre-owened these days, it wouldn't be a bad purchase at all to grab the system.

Is ff4 good. Im one of those idiots who jumped in the ff bandwagon a little too late lol. Which is better to get? The DS remake or the PsP complete collection?

I'd say the PSP version is where it's at, if only for the wealth of extra content. You're getting a sequel and a (brief) interquel in addition to the already lengthy original quest.

Other than that, it all comes down to how you like your graphics. The DS version has 3D graphics, if you find that sort of thing critical to your Final Fantasy experience. In any case, they're some of the best you'll see on DS.

The PSP version has graphics more in line with what expects from Square's 16-bit era, only...clean. Really clean. Sqaure did a fine job of both pleasing my eye while appealing to a purist's sense of nostalgia.

I dunno'. Really, with the extra content included with the PSP version, I find it hard to recommend the DS game. But if you have a hard time swallowing two-dimensional graphics, by all means.


In the end, you can't go wrong. Final Fantasy IV is awesome no matter how it's served up.

Whoa.

Has anyone else downloaded the Fancy Pants demo? Is it just me, or is it pretty awesome?


It's reminding me of late era Genesis stuff, with the creative energy of the Vectorman/Comix Zone period...almost like something Sega Technical Institute developed.


The control is spot on and feels great.

It's just fun.

I'll definitely get Dino Crisis 2, just finished the 1st one some weeks ago and I've been very interested in playing the 2nd. Also interested in AH3 but I just bought 2 Guilty Gear games so I'll wait.

Does the PSN version of Final Fantasy IV have a software manual? All the other games I buy from PSN have a digital software manual that I can look at in the XMB, but The 3rd Birthday did not.

If FFIV doesn't have a manual, I'm not buying it until it goes on sale.
