Bungie is hard at work on something right now -- that's for sure. What that something is, however, remains the big question. You might be one of the first people to actually answer that -- but, having sworn on your life, be unable to tell anyone -- should you get picked by the studio to participate in its forthcoming beta-testing program.
Launched last November and relaunched this week, the "Bungie Beta Tester" signup survey is currently live on the company's official site, asking all types of generic questions about participants' gaming habits. Given the generality of the questions, we didn't glean much from signing up. We did learn, though, that Grand Theft Auto is part of the "driving/fighting/shooting" genre. Thanks, Bungie!
It's unclear whether this signup round has anything to do with the beta signup emails that the studio sent out earlier this year to select site members. We've asked Bungie for clarification.

@Freddie Mercury
Yes, and I think it has to do with PSN being down

I wonder what happens if you spill the beans about their next game. How would they know if you did it by word of mouth? I never get these things -_-

You sign an NDA.
If something gets out, and they track it down to you, they sue you.

They might not, but if they do, you are screwed.
Say you are the only tester in an area. You tell someone, they tell someone else, they post online, they put a YouTube video up. In their YouTube account they have their location. They find out, see who posted the video, link it to your area, and to you, and you are screwed.
Some screener movies and beta video games have hidden serial numbers in them. If a movie gets leaked, or a game gets uploaded, they can use software to find these numbers, see who it was registered to, and come after you.
Companies keep track of things like this. They might not learn you leaked it out, but if they did, your ass is going to be hurting from the suing they are going to do to you. Not only did you break NDA, but you could also "cause damage to the game", and they aren't going to take that lightly.

don't be ridiculous. companies EXPECT leaks when they do public betas like this; they don't really pursue people much at all. most companies DO take internal leaks much more seriously, however.

@skbkoy65 That was the reason they signed with Activision over other offers, they wanted to own the IP. I still think they would've been better off with the EA partners program.

I think it does. I went to the link they sent out and it tells me to go to the new location within a logged-in profile.
