finding landmarks? and people thought my earlier comments were full of shit when i said this is a sandbox game. oh well i can be proved wrong.

@aconrad777 Some ppl thought that this game would be rigidly linear like Mafia 2? That's very uncharacteristic of Rockstar's other works like RDR or anything GTA.

That's good...you can re-do cases instead of replaying the ENTIRE game.

@Yisrael Yeah...arson I would've thought, comes after traffic.
For some reason I thought Rockstar was giving us too many spoilers already (e.g. that Bulkowski gets killed), but I guess we get different partners for each desk.

Bulkowski is but one of your partners.
This is the first trailer that points out that some of the other faces we've seen already are "other" partners you get for each desk. Prior to this, I wasn't sure who they were.
(my apologies on the trailer spoilage).

I guess i'm the only one who thinks this game doesn't look good. It just looks like another godfather meets grandtheft, meets in 1950's. Is there something i'm missing?

Having never bothered with the Godfather games, or Scarface, l have no doubt this will surpass both. Why? Because if they wanted to, this game could have been out already. I just think it'll be a surprise hit, like RED DEAD REDEMPTION.

your brain.
I'm sorry you walked right into that. You would have done the same, don't even lie.
I think most people are excited about the facial animations and how they are supposed to affect the gameplay... reading people facial expressions to see if they are telling the truth or not

I often wonder if this game will be too "real" for a mass market. Honestly, how many of us are experts at reading people's reactions? I'd think even hardcore gamers might find it a difficult transition considering we've been looking at nothing but rendered faces so far.

Oh L.A Noire. I got so hot and bothered back in 06-07 by that first trailer. Can't believe its still baking. It will probably trump Mafia 2 in every way and I really liked Mafia 2. Looking forward to this game!

I really enjoy listening to that Announcer. His informative style is what sold me on buying Red Dead

@Gamblor He could easily talk me into buying a ham, and I don't even like ham.

I'd be really interested for a couple of actual detectives to sit down and play the game when it comes out and see what they think about the game's cases and detective work. Sort of like when police officers played Police Quest 1, but a little better than that.

GTA V's gone look awesome if this game is an indicator. from the looks of things they bought the RAGE engine on par with the Unreal Engine (minus DX11 Support)
if only Rockstar would start back on the PC. Them douchebags.

Was that an excessive amount of screen tearing or is it just me? Gameplay looks really interesting and fun.

Gameplay looks solid for sure, but I'm sold mainly because of the performances they are able to get from their characters.

Me too, me too. Hopefully the success of Episodes from Liberty City on PC made them realize we're a patient bunch.
