Hop to these EA game deals on iOS and Android
18
EA is apparently making an annual affair out of its massive mobile games sale, dubbing the event "The Bitten Bunny" and dropping prices of iOS and Android games across the board. Nearly 30 games, including big names like Dead Space and NBA Jam, are marked down to 99 cents for iOS.
Eight Android games are also dropped by 50 percent (or more), so if you've been waiting to grab Worms for Android, now is the time (and $2 is the price). A full list of sale items is available for each platform right here.
The sale goes through Easter Sunday, after which the Easter Bunny will hop back into his hiding spot for another year. It'll be the least money you've paid for Tetris this year -- so what if it's the dozenth time you've bought it?
[Thanks, Vallanthaz]

Does this just count for the iPhone version of Dead Space or what? I slept on the last time it went on sale for iPad and I don't want to miss it again.

@baby sea tuna you can't buy it online and have it just load up on your iPad?

Man, Worms for my phone sounds awesome...but it doesn't look like it has very good reviews. Looks like a lot of people on the Android marketplace are saying it force closes fairly often.

The controls are a little wonky but I've never had it fail on me. Had a bit of troubles getting it to actually START the first time but after that it's been perfect.
Oh and I've got a Galaxy S Captivate.

Well hey, I may have to go ahead and get it then! I have that same phone, so I'd say I'm almost guaranteed that it will work. Have you upgraded to Froyo yet? I haven't gotten around to it yet, so I didn't know if that made a difference to this game one way or another...

Holy Crap! Dead Space for $1 - that's a great deal and highly recommended. I purchased it when it was full price and I do not regret it at all. A little awkward controls at time and the primary focus is on "killing" unlike the console Dead Space games that added a little more exploring/puzzles. But for on-the-go Dead Space action - you can not go wrong!
Think I personally will pick up NBA Jam at this price - BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!

I got NBA Jam this morning before I went to work on my Touch. When I get home I'll be sure to snatch up Dead Space. The only problem is with these games being so cheap I end up getting too many and I have a lot of unfinished games on my Touch now. Oh well. I'll be getting Dead Space anyways...

I love EA in the AppStore. Just wait 3-4 weeks after release, and it's almost guaranteed to be on sale.

And yet, The Sims 3 Android is STILL not worth it.
