Metro 2033
$20$10 [Steam]
Steam weekend deal: Metro 2033 for $10
17
There's never been a better time to explore the dilapidated, mutant-infested subway tunnels of Russia's future, as Valve has knocked the price of Metro 2033 down to a measly $10 for the weekend. With savings like that, you could pick up an extra gas mask and some radiation meds.

It's $4.99 on GamersGate for today and I think it can be activated on Steam.

@Vustom Not only activated on steam, it uses steamworks as it's DRM, so you have to. Also GamersGate is very hassle free and easy to use for all people who don't know them :].

Despite the small handful of nagging problems, this is one of those games I'd recommend to nearly anyone. It's more approachable than the STALKER franchise, and did a lot of things really well. Plus if you have a good PC it can look downright phenomenal. Go into your settings ini and set Global Illumination to 1 and bask in awe. Still don't know of any other game that uses it yet, and it adds so much to the realism in lighting.
