@Dance Mofo Isn't CSI: Hard Evidence actually by Telltale Games? I'd actually consider it if I was buying a Ubisoft game this weekend.

If I actually wanted one of those games...

If it's not on Steam I just can't buy it.

Not that any of those games are even worth buying.

Oh so you're one of those assholes that refuses to pay microsoft 10 cents for the entire aoe3 collection. You know what, you stick with your monopoly and i'll stick with buying even more cheap games.

Actually I kind of agree with the poster. I have my collection on steam and its very hassle free when it comes to redownloading a game I might have deleted or otherwise lost. I really like have my library consolidated on 1 system with full support for the steam overlay. I realize you can use the overlay with other games, but I dislike trying to remember where I got a game and if they are all purchased via steam, it solves that issue.

I have purchased viva pinata and AOE's on microsofts alternative, and even bought hot pursuit on the ea store (only because it wasn't clear if it was coming to steam).

When you start having a library over 100 games (thanks steam sales!!), it just becomes easier to stick with 1 platform. I realize they may have a significant monopoly but so far they have done nothing to cause a person to worry. Once Steam does something ridiculous, like start charging a subscription or stop offering good deals on games, then you can complain about a monopoly. Until then. as a gamer you should be happy that such a great service exists.

When I played it on PS2, I thoughtit was okay.

Only bad part was renting it and hitting some game ending bug half way through.

Are those even fixed in the trilogy? In all of the pop trilogy I hit a bug 50% through that made me have to restart.

I cant remember the ones in 2 and 3, but in the first one I'd die 5 seconds after reload. No enemies or anything around.. just fall over dead

"Gentlemen, we have one of the most unique and brilliant games of our generation. But we're concerned the beautiful arabian theme isn't enough. It's kind of conformist, kind of mainstream; it just doesn't 'get it'. The youth of today are absorbing more culture than ever before, and that means we can't just throw any old crap at them. We have to respect their finely tuned, coinnesseur's tastes. So what do they actually like?"

"Godsmack, sir."

@DrDrew Pinsky Is finding $35 on the ground a good enough replacement?

Or getting onion rings in your BK french fries? Mm. BK.

I was actually lucky enough to find $200 on a sidewalk, found it with two of my friends so we split it three ways. I've also had two sodas come out of a vending machine many times. I guess I'm lucky lol

@doreo Dude, nice.

Just yesterday I found a waterlogged ipod touch under a log. I have little hope that it'll recover, but you never know.

Why can't I reply to comments from the link that joystiq emails me when someone replies to my comments? :(

Everyone went crazy for it at the time. Some parts of it, like the engine, the environment and combat were quite interesting; but as a game it just fell apart - I had no interest in any of the meaningless missions, the repeat journeys around the same old roads (clearing the same checkpoints each time); the stuff that is supposed to hook you and put the gameplay into an enjoyable context.

Don't forget, Bloody Good Time is a whopping $4.99, so basically Far Cry 2 for $5....not a bad deal at all!
