Antiquated isn't always a bad thing, my friend. :-)

(I like that Telltale is creating throwback games for a genre of old).

I would prefer everything on a disc, actually.

Somewhere Jeff Goldblum is pondering himself into a coma.

"If this, this game comes out with updated graphics but with dated content, will it survive? If survival = game sales, and game sales are bolstered by pre-orders, that means Gamestop created man..."

(What? ^ just thought it sounded Jeff Goldbumey")

Hopefully they'll put BttF on disc for 360. Here's hoping!

Good. I'd much rather have a physical disc. I'll be buying this version.

Someday it may be considered old-fashioned, but if there's the option of buying the disc, I will go with that every time.

@ItsameMatt03 Telltale have always given the option of sending you a boxed version containing all the episodes once they've all been released, if you're willing to pay for the shipping.

I hope they sharpened things up a little after Back to the Future. I've enjoyed it so far, but mostly out of nostalgia. The controls are offensively awful, and some of the puzzles suffer too much from the "I know exactly what to do, but the game won't let me do it" problem. Took me twenty minutes to get Biff blown away by the giant speaker in the first scene, just because I hadn't had the proper "trigger" conversation with my dad first.

Jeep: "Check it out, a raptor! Let's launch over it!"
Raptor: "Body Massage..."

And that's how I'll narrate my copy of this must-buy game. :]

They cancelled my pre-order so that I can play all of the episodes at once in the fall instead of one a month starting around now? Gee, thanks, Telltale.

My guess is the 360, PS3, and PC will all get full-season discs right around the time the final episode is released on the PS3 and PC.

I'd much rather have a disc as well, simply because it's less of a hassle if I wanted to take it with me and play/show it to friends or family. Plus, you can't really sell downloaded material on amazon so that's a plus too

@ColdHeat Lately Telltale games on the PC haven't been sold as individual series. You buy the season and get the games as they're released. They could set up a store on the 360 similar to Game Room or Hasbro Family Game Night where you pay $30 (or whatever price) for the first episode and download the additional ones for free.

I remember some sort of Jurassic Park game as a kid. I was like 5 or something, so I dont remember much. All I remember is playing as a raptor, there was blood,...it was great. I think it was a snes game...

@The Only Girl

If you were playing as the Raptor is was the Sega Genesis games or PS1 The Lost World game.
Only 2 I recall that let you play as the Raptor

Yup, it was a 2 part game, you could go through Grant's quest, then try out the Raptor half.

Genesis.

Neither of the Jurassic Park games for the SNES let you be a raptor.

Then there were the expansions on the Sega one that allowed you to be the raptor aswell.

There was only one "expansion", and that was Rampage Edition.

But yes, you could be a raptor in that one, too.

Awesome.
I'll be getting this on PS3 and 360 for sure.
If the wait just means I keep to get the game all at once, I don't mind at all.

This game looks like it's going to be pretty great. I would love to see an exact replica of the movie or a shooter based upon the movie of some sort (based on Jurassic park 2, perhaps?). I remember playing my first jurassic park game, the one on the original Gameboy. So buying this game for nostalgia.

If you mean for PC or Mac you can buy the season pass from telltale now and then when the last episode has been released you can get a physical copy mailed to you where you only need to pay for shipping. If you meant a physical copy for the consoles then don't think they've done that before but theres always a first(well second) time.

Well, they're already doing it with Jurassic Park, I can't see why not do it with BTTF given that there's a strong demand for it.

Sam and Max Season 1 and 2 were released on Wii as retail discs. Season 2 was also released on 360 as retail disc.

Not that I'm opposed to this game, but why now? I'd read rumors of another Jurassic Park movie a year or so ago but nothing lately. Is Spielberg actually making another movie?
