Greece's Ocarina of Time pre-order bonuses are the best bonuses ever
47
Nintendo Greece has apparently decided that selling its customers a renovated, three-dimensional version of the best game ever made isn't a sweet enough treat. The official Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D page on Nintendo.gr has revealed that folks who pre-order the game through Nintendo will receive a plethora of bonuses, including a keychain, baseball cap, 3DS cover, an actual ocarina and -- get this -- a canister of Deku tree seeds. (We hear that if you plant them, actual sentient shrubs come out of the ground.)
No pre-order bonuses for the U.S. have been announced, but needless to say, the bar's been set pretty high. If we don't get a pouch of replica rupees, or at the very least, a remote-controlled Bombchu, we're going to be extremely disappointed.

you could just preorder it from a greece website. it would be a lot cheaper than moving there.

I quiver in fear to think of college students armed with remote bombchu explosives.
I would play the Song of Storms every time it rained with the ocarina, though.

If the Ocarina was an actual (but slightly miniturised) working model of the Ocarina Of Time.
I would personally, go on a 1-man hunt to track down a NoE or UK representitive of Nintendo to ensure those items reach our shores.

When will it be USA's turn to get some limited bonus release? We have gotten the following:
1) Gold Ocarina of Time
2) Gold Majora's Mask w/ Holographic Label
3) Gold Nintendo DS w/ Phantom Hourglass
Now, all three of those are great as far as I'm concerned. But at the same time, I don't think I'm the only one here who would pay extra for some sort of limited bonus pack release or something. Throw in some concept art or something.
Here's a quick rundown of cool stuff we've never seen here. I'm sure there's more than just this list.

Greece? Really?
I mean, good for them, but why Greece? Did Nintendo of Greece just have a bunch of extra advertising money lying around?
I'm curious to know what's going on in other European nations. In Bulgaria, it comes with a 3/4 scale Hookshot. In Portugal, you get a horse.

It seems that the awesomeness of Nintendo's pre-order bonuses are inversely proportionate to a country's economic health.
In fact, Greece was one IMF loan away from getting an actual talking owl with every pre-order.

yeah nintendo Greece is the coolest of all by far.
they often send you gifts with every purchase from their e-shop. t-shirts, ds game pouches, stylii, stickers etc. so i guess for ocarina they really added lots of bonus items :D i still have some of their gifts. like an authentic gamecube t-shirt and a metal case for my DS games, featuring mew 2.... others i gifted to to friends and relatives...
I can't think of any nintendo fan in Greece who is not happy with their service.
