Hmmm....

Still enjoying my Portal 2 experience, but I'm also gonna mix it up a bit with some Superbrothers: Sword & Swocery EP. The Scythian's woeful journey has just begun!

I'm not looking forward to spending $60-$80 on expansions though...

So close to beating Portal 2 and maybe a replay of Twilight Princess before L.A. Noire comes out. I really don't know why everyone hates the sword waggle ...

I didn't mind the waggle at all, but I also played (and completed!) Twilight Princess while high on painkillers and sick with mono. It made the game awesome!

That's essentially how I completed FFIX, except it wasn't mono, it was that I had my wisdom teeth extracted. I don't remember much except one guy had a tail. A tail!

Also, bought a copy of Sin & Punishment 2. Still sealed. Gonna unleash it on my friends tomorrow, to see if they can make sense of it.

Borderlands, Starcraft 2 probably, again. Those 2 games eat up so much gaming time that i cant even get into my back catalog of:

Farcry 2
Dead Space
Braid
Super Meat Boy
Half-Life 2 (as a gamer, its so hard to admit i've barely played it!)

Grrr silly addictive online games!

Your list looks like mine haha. I'm almost a liar when I call myself a gamer. Heck. I watch my friends play games more than I play them myself.

Borderlands Borderlands Borderlands. I convinced a few friends to buy it on PC, so I can finally try out the online properly. Need to get that finished up so I can begin working on my comically oversized Steam back catalogue, which is only growing due to EA week.

I just got Brink Pre-loaded onto Steam. =D Though I won't be playing it till the 15th.

So what I got is my laptop, which can't play most post-2007 games due to crappy Intel Intergrated.

Time to Finish a BUNCH of INDIE GAMES and Old Games on Steam. =D

First off, I love its detailed animation. I definitely prefer its graphics over NSMBW's and DKCR's.
It certainly puts more emphasis on "speedrunning", if you will, as every level has an "escape sequence" where you have to get back to the beginning of the level under a time constraint. Most of the time you go a different path though.
There are missions in every level that are comparable to achievements. Some of them are really hard but all the missions are optional though and only unlock the soundtrack.
The controls are as smooth as you would expect them to be from a Wario-platformer. Essentially, the controls are those of Wario Land 4 with a few motion controls added. Just like in DKCR and NSMBW, you always hold the controller sideways and just flick or turn the controller when certain moves are required.
Musically, I find WLSI to be the most appealing. It comes with all kinds of genres and draws some nice but subtle inspirations from other Wario/Mario games here and there, but other than NSMBW and DKCR it comes with a lot of new music.
Overall I prefer WLSI but if you don't play the optional missions or unlock the secret levels then it won't be as hard as DKCR. It also won't take you as long to beat; I don't remember exactly but I recall reading about people beating the game in 5-6 hours without secret levels and missions. It took me about 15 hours at minimum to get 100% in the game.
Hope I helped.

Soo very curious about Brink! is it the next Team Joy game?

Heavy Rain
Wolfenstein
Crysis 2
Starwars: Force Unleashed 2
And also playing Starwars: KoToR2 (For the first time ever) :x KoToR2 is definitely going to be a long gameplay for me seeing as how I've literally spent over half a day playing in the 2nd area doing missions and such >.<

Conduit 2 while i EV-train my new team in Pokemon White

Conduit 2 seems to reward persistence as much as strategy in regards to the online, at least as far as the objective-based matches go. Funnily most people in the objective matches play as though they were in deathmatch, putting less focus on fighting those of us who are trying to win

Chris you'll probably never end up reading this but I would strongly advise playing Metro 2033. It's probably one of the best shooters out there. Assuming that you bought it on Steam you should try the Ranger Easy or Ranger Hard difficulty modes, they add a lot of extra tension and take away some focus from the bad shooting elements.

I'm still weeding through my backlog of games here.

Earlier in the week I beat Portal 2's singleplayer campaign. Will definitely be playing co-op when PSN returns from the grave. Beat Mortal Kombat's story mode and challenge tower last night.

I'll probably check out the new updates for Left 4 Dead 2, complete the Subject 16 puzzle in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and if I have time, play Batman Arkham Asylum for the first time. (Yes, I know, I'm behind.)

I will be spending my weekend mourning the end of the joystiq podcast. If i can pull myself out of this deep, terrible depression, I will be reuniting myself with Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake. At least, I will be in whatever time I'm not currently seeing Thor again

Chris I think you should go with Metro for now. I'd say it's shorter than AssCreedBros, and if you're still coming off that DA2 tip, I think you could probably stand for a shorter more focused experience.
