EA Store offers scary good discount on Dead Space series for PC
23
The EA Store has taken a plasma cutter to the price of the Dead Space series. The downloadable PC versions of Dead Space and Dead Space 2 can be had for $12 and $24, respectively. The sale runs through Sunday, at which point prices will regenerate to their more terrifying original forms.

Have the feeling Steam is going to beat this tomorrow...

I waited too. Thanks for the tip. I didn't know it was EA week on Steam and now I've got D1 and DS2 for $30.
I also made my second purchase on Mirrors Edge. I can't believe the graphics looks so much better on the PC. :D I hope Dice makes a sequel.

FYI this isn't available in the EA Asia-Pacific region. (I'm in Australia).
Prices are still:
Dead Space $14.99
Dead Space 2 $79.99
Thanks for pointing out EA is still spitting me in the eye in regards to regional pricing. Don't you just love paying more than double the price even when the AU dollar vs US is higher!?
For digital content this just gives me the shits. >_>

relax we will be rewarded in the afterlife..
not to mention on steam at the moment you can get crysis for LESS than Americans are paying and my guess is that this will be on steam tomorrow (probably cheaper than the EA store) as part of EA week.

I fear even this is only a matter of time before it is spoilt with the tendrils of greed.
This is the afterlife so need to make the most of it now.

Just a heads up, near the "switch-over" time of the sale days, just prior to the Crysis sale being active (and despite showing it on the store page), Dead Space 1 and 2 were up on Steam for $4.99 and $29.99 respectively. Who knows if that's what their final prices will be, but it's a safe bet Dead Space will be represented today or Sunday.

No DLC for PC was such a selfish move by Visceral Games

@US 447 If games developers thinks like that to pc gamers about being pirates then what is the point of buying their game.

Question if anyone sees this:
I want this. But I heard the controls are super awkward, enough to make it hard to play. Is this true? :( I've only ever tried it on Ps3 but I cannnooott stand playing these types of games using dual analog sticks, blah. But if the PC controls are awkward I don't know if i should buy..
