Excellent. Soundtracks are usually half the reason I get excited for games.

Fallout 3 did an amazing job in building a soundtrack out of jazz and pop standards from that era. Soundtracks are a Rockstar strength; they could create something really special here.

Just as I did with the Red Dead Redemption OST, I think I'll get this on Vinyl.
Is seems more appropriate, much like the OST for Bioshock.
R*, I hope you're listening.

I never get the purpose of remixes. I have never heard a song and said "this would sound better with that beat from every 90's techno song."

I'm going to love the game, but not the soundtrack. I've never been able to dig the soundtracks of games set in this time period.
Bioshock 1 & 2, Mafia 1 & 2, and now this. There's nothing wrong with the music, it suits the game really well, but I just personally have no taste for it, and thus I often let the soundtracks go unnoticed for the aforementioned games.

I hope it has some good periodic music like Mafia 2 did. I enjoyed that soundtrack.

The Car radio had indeed been invented by 1947. It actually first appeared in the 1930's from a company called Galvin Manufacturing Corporation. Their first radio designed to be installed in a car was called the Motorola model 5T71. The Motorola name was a combination of "motor" and "Victrola" The Motorola name stuck and that's what the Galving Manufacturing Company is known as today.
