Capcom 'Flash Sale' on limited edition Dark Void statue, Phoenix Wright
21
If you're looking for Capcom-branded goods on the cheap, the Capcom store is having a limited-time Flash sale. For the next few hours, you can get the custom light-up Dark Void statue seen above or a copy of Phoenix Wright for the DS at a discounted price.
The Dark Void statue was limited to a run of 1,000 made specifically for Capcom fan events. Normally it'd retail for $90, but it's only $30 right now; Phoenix Wright is half-off at $15.

Only a thousand statues?? They could have paired one with each copy of the game sold and still had a few left over. =P

If you have yet to play Phoenix Wright and like point and click-esque adventure games, this is the perfect time to play it.

I don't even like point-and-click adventures and I love the PW series!

DAMN IT CAPCOM! Why would I want a statue of Dark Void and not Phoenix Wright? This deal should be the other way around.

If anyones wondering. Dark void is not a total crap fest. You can get it for around 2-4 bucks online, and for that price is actually a pretty decent game.
Don't go in with high expectations, and you might actually have fun with it.

Yeah. From the demo, the controls were horrible. If the mechanics were solid and it had a shit story, I wouldn't mind so much. But the way it played made me never want to give it another chance.

@motopsycho I agree! I got it for like $20 and enjoyed the hell out of it. Not a perfect game by any means, but for less then $20 it's a great purchase.

I'm probably one of the few people on the planet interested in that Dark Void statue, too bad I have no way to buy it.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is being sold on Amazon.com for $17.99 with free shipping if you have a prime account. That's $2.50 cheaper than Capcom.com with standard shipping. Statue is neat tho!

Dark Void was unpolished as hell. It felt like there was no QA done on it. What happened? A talented development team, a talented publisher, etc.
With that said, I still enjoyed Dark Void, but it's a 6-7 game due to its unpolished nature.

There are much worse games out there than Dark Void. I bought it for $40 and enjoyed the hell out of the flying zones.
Yahtzee said it best in his review: it's not bad, just disappointing.
...though I guess I'm biased...I AM the Rocketeer and all...
