Not only does it add 3D graphics, but this reimagining of Crush has also undergone a fairly significant aesthetic change. Gone are the dark and dreary environments of the original game, replaced by a much less stressful jewel-toned palette. Sega today formally unveiled Crush3D (geddit?), the 3DS remake of 2007's perspective-shifting PSP puzzle-platformer, Crush. With the announcement, the publisher released a handful of screenshots and a debut trailer, and pinned the game to a September 6 launch in North America (September 9 in Europe and Australia).

I don't understand the aesthetic change. Why? I thought it looked great how it was.

It's funny, because it's Crushed, only the "e" is replaced with a 3 to be "cool" or "edgy" and to emphasize it's in 3D/going to be on the 3DS.

Is it different puzzles? If so, I now want a 3DS. Crush on the PSP is all sorts of awesome, and I'm both surprised and pleased to see a sequel.

Sorry, the new look is beyond atrocious. The PSP look was fantastic.

What's with the Gorillaz '2D' eye style? Is Jamie Hewlett's less-talented brother involved?

So is this a 2D image of a 3DS game or not?!? They kind of left me in the dark on this one...

Its both.
Crush was the machine created dream world where you would "crush" the 3d world to a 2d perspective to allow crossing of various gaps and what not.
Not unlike paper mario in that you could switch the perspective with a bump.
the psp game, while not a HUGE seller, was actually quite fun and I bet you could find for 6 bucks. I got mine new for around that

It was a joke. You know, because of the "2D Image of a 3DS Game" text box that they put on the 3DS screenshots.

It looks like a old ps1 game. The psp game at least looked decent.

Wow, this looks much better than the original. The PSP one was so dark. I like color.
