After teasing us over the last several days, Twisted Pixel has finally revealed the meaning behind Ms. 'Splosion Man's mysterious "2G1C" feature. As it turns out, it's actually much more innocent than its namesake -- which we will not elaborate upon here -- and simply allows one player to control two Ms. Splosion Men (Mans?) with one controller.
We say "simply," but it's obviously much more difficult than it sounds. One 'splosion lady is controlled with the left analog stick, while the other is controlled with the right. Each character's 'splode function is similarly mapped to either the left or right bumper. See "2 Girls 1 Controller" in action after the break.
Actually if you read the story behind it, the game mode came first:
"Then Chainsaw, our audio dude, had the idea to put both players on one controller, using each stick to control a different player and the bumpers to jump. It was a great idea, so I stole it and claimed it as my own, and we got it put into the game. Later on our Lead Programmer, Mike Henry, came up with the idea of calling it 2 girls 1 controller, and as soon as he said it, we knew that’s what the name would have to be."
So yeah Im probably the only person on the net that hasnt seen that freaking 2 girls 1 cup vid. I looked it up one day but found nothing. Anyone have a link? Or can anyone tell me whats it about? lol

Sweet mercy! I didn't hear nearly the amount of annoying one-liners as was in the preview a couple months ago. They seem to have toned it down to gibberish like in good old Splosion Man.
@Saxonius i was going to say, i want to see "new" gameplay vids to see if they did in fact tone it down. loved splosion man, but was completely turned off by the commentary in the earlier ms. splosion man vids. won't be getting the game if those annoying sounds are still in it.
Reminds me of the last Rapalas fishing game if you were playing at a friends house on his Xbox in Co-Op mode his friends could pull up his gamer card and under where it shows what they are doin in the game it said "Two buddies one boat",i thought that reference was kinda funny given the game.
sounds cool. back when Google had a playable Pac-man on their main page, i tried controlling both Pac-man's in the two-player version. i made it through the first level, but it wasn't easy.
Sounds insane considering how hard the first single player and multiplayer game was. I think I'll start off with multiplayer first :p Portal 2 has honed my countdown skills so I can splode off the other 3 in perfect symphony.
