Fireburst trailer comes with a hot rock single
32
Sure, this trailer for the upcoming downloadable arcade racer Fireburst has some fun jumps and explosions in it. But if you're anything like us, that song is what caught your ears. That's Dayton, Ohio's Hawthorne Heights performing "Drive," which you can get for free on the game's website.

I'm telling you I did post my comment. I'm just going to avoid saying the same thing so I'll avoid the dreaded double post.

What can the whole world actually agree on as good music though? Bob Marley? Hendrix? The Who? Rolling Stones? Chuck Berry? Ray Charles? ..Fleetwood Mac? Half the world has convinced themselves that the Beatles are overrated, for pete's sake!
Anyone who enjoys hardcore modern rock (though it is your choice and you should not apologise for who you are) would do themselves a great service by purchasing a few ounces of marijuana, and working their way through '1001 albums you must here before you die'.

I'll admit having a soft spot for music like that, but, meh... bands like that were better left behind at early high school

So I want to watch the trailer, and instead am given a minute and a half long commerical for Walgreens.
Then I want to comment on said commercial being completely insane, especially as the commerical is longer than the trailer, but I didn't remember my password so I went to reset it.
The password reset page sends me an email to go to another password reset page. Why not just make the original link go to the password reset page?
I had abandoned Kotaku when they went to the "let's break everything and make our users unable to comment on things" format; is Joystiq following suit by trying to be as annoying as possible to it's users?

Wow, it's amazing what people will complain about. YOU forgot your password? Right? So why are you complaining that it's broken. I just ironically had to reset my password and it did not have a problem resetting it for me and allowed me within a minute to get back in.
Methinks the problem may be in between your keyboard and chair.

What are you waiting for?

I was hoping for some faster paced non-whiny rock, maybe with a pinch of a southern metal thing going on. But alas, both the song and the game are suckish.

Guess what, it's a DLC arcade game so yeah, it'll probably suck when you comare it to simular AAA games made and distrubuted the traditional way. You need to set your standards lower.

Awh this game is just a wannabe Motorstorm, NO Thanks!

I held a gesture of disgust throughout the whole whole trailer.

What is the point of this game even existing when there are three MotorStorm games out there already that play just like this and perhaps a lot better? Just seems silly when the cause for immediate comparison is so strong.

I dont know which was more gay the misic or the game. Way to seel your game with some music like that!
