Half-Life 2 H.E.V. charging station case mod is without equal

We've showcased some PC mods here on our humble site before, but we're pretty sure we're ready to crown Overclock forum user Frenkie "King of the PC Mods" -- his Half-Life 2-inspired H.E.V. recharge station mod seen above is total pin-up material. As you read this, we're printing out the images he posted over on Overclock, throwing them all over the floor and just rolling around in them, trying to soak up the magnificence.

Of course, the downside to all of this is that we're reminded of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 yet again ... and how much we need it.

I'm confused - what type of computer is this? The depth pictures shows that it's not a standard tower case, nor one of the square LAN ones.

He used two Cooler Master Elite towers stacked vertically and then cut them to size as was needed; in terms of hardware, it's an older Core 2 based system with a cut-down P45 or P43 micro-ATX motherboard.

Yes, I wish we could all stop mentioning Ep 3 as I am now convinced it is some sort of awful backwards Beetlejuice that lays dormant far longer with each crazed whipser of its forsaken name.
