And AT&T is finally going to allow third-party Apps on my Inspire 4G starting today. Good. Timing.

@NinjaJesus Well, Android Central is reporting it, at least. That said, I don't have an update yet, so until it's actually on my phone and working, I'll be hard pressed to fully believe it. But, this is promising news!

Ah, okay. Yeah i read that already...from what I'm hearing it may take days/weeks for everyone to get it. I'm curious to see if it's just for Amazon or are they going to let us install all 3rd party apps.

I'm sorry but Google's "open" Android platform drives me crazy. There should be one app store where I can get everything. it shouldn't limit certain apps to certain carriers, certain companies, etc. This is just confusing for the consumer.

But there is. This is just Amazon doing it's own thing and being awesome. Google doesn't condone it, (the Appstore app is certainly not available in the marketplace for obvious reasons), but their OS is gracious enough to allow the freedom for it to happen. That I applaud.

I love the fact that I can get apps from multiple different places. Especially since amazon doesn't allow foreign currency, its only is the U.S. Dollar.

I can actually shop around for an app, which is also awesome. I'm not tied down to one marketplace.

Happy to see PvZ is coming, been waiting a while for it to be released.

This is a nice grab for AMAZON...their Android App store has been killing. The Free Apps they have offered every day since launch are actually titles you would pay money for......and their interface is more organized than the Android Marketplace.

Even though PopCap's Flash Versions of their game are fully playable on the XOOM.....the load times are a bit long.

Loving it even more since the Honeycomb 3.1 Update and the Flash 10.3 update......
