So...paintings as backgrounds, lifeless characters in the market place, same sound effects as thirteen years ago. More of a port with better textures than a remake.

Don't get me wrong I loved OoT, but isn't this just lazy for a 'killer app'?

It's actually not too difficult to learn from my experience. After nearly four years of German classes in high school I can understand most of what he's saying, but even after maybe two years of learning it you could probably make out what he's saying.

Why was he adjusting the 3D? Do Germans not know that the 3D won't work through the camera?

It's probably just because he doesnt prefer 3D during some moments of gameplay. Or it just bothered him. I dont believe there is anyone who can go for an extended period of gameplay with 3D on.

Capacitive = finger only
Resistive = finger or stylus
I actually prefer the hearty tap and accuracy of resistive compared with the oversensitive approximation that is capacitive. Especially for gaming.

There are now several jumping animations. Link squats in this case because he knows he will be falling, while if you jump from one ledge to another it uses the "old" animation.

Does anyone else find that interesting?

1. Map looks much smaller in scale compared to the original

2. Some animations have changed. Not sure what to think about that

3. The fov is weird. The tunnel effect was the first thing I noticed. Can't remember it being that bad in the original though my guess is they did that to make the map seem bigger than it is.

If you don't believe me about the map size then just watch this

Keep special attention on Death Mountain and you'll see what I mean. So yeah : /... not amused

When Ocarina of Time inevitabily and rightfully sells out completely and there are large scale riots to make more copies, will Nintendo see it's success and make a 3DS Majora's Mask? One can only hope!

I would consider purchasing a Nintendo 3DS if they released Majora's Mask as well as a sequel to Majora's Mask. A story in a new setting from Hyrule and Termina where the Kid Link in Majora's Mask is now Adult Link. I would hope it would involve the Fierce Deity Mask too.

Also, Nintendo 3DS is going to need a lot more original RPG games before I buy it.

Also lol when he falls in the fire temple at 7:40 and gets hurt then falls again like twice as far in Dodongo Cavern at 9:50 as a kid and doesn't get hurt at all. >.

I'm not sure I understand the appeal of this game. It's the same game we all beat numerous times years ago, with slightly better graphics. That's it, so why should I be excited? I'd rather a new killer app for me to go out and plunk 40 dollars on, not an enhanced port of a decade+ game.

@Railgun not anything more than enchanced graphics? There are:
A Master Quest that is mirrored
A boss rush mode
"Sheika Stones" that gives you tips
Probably something more that isn't announced yet.

So they reversed Master Quest, big whoop. I'm sure they put a lot of time and effort into doing that for us. I also don't see why it would be that appealing, it's just Master Quest mirrored.
A boss rush mode, letting me fight bosses I've already beat a hundred times.
Don't see why giving tips would matter to anyone who has already beaten OoT before.

It seems like Nintendo is putting in very minimal effort into this. Yet these are reasons for people to get super excited and hyped? To go out and pay 40 bucks? I'm sorry I just don't get it.
