NO!! ....

I don't want to listen to this episode... for some reason it feels like if I did then it really would be over, that in some silly way if I don't, then the show will live on forever.
I know the Joystiq Show is on the horizon, but... it won't be the same.

Can't you just secretly continue it on the side? We wouldn't tell, honest!

@Gaddes
I'll continue the fancast.

But it's mostly going to be about the Golden Girls, guns and sharp objects. : )

I'm really going to miss you guys.......... I hope the new show captures the magic, and that this was a decision from within the group (not the joystiq heads telling you to shut down...).

Either way, good luck in your new adventures, can't wait to hear all about them!

A sad day. I would normally listen on my train journeys into London for work. The trips would fly by. I've had many a chuckle at the cast. Super Dunners would always make me laugh (normally in the what you've been playing segment with his constant Gears/Halo escapades). Dave Hinkle is a legend. A guy who can make anyone smile. Xav and Alexander would add to the banter and Richard was always there to try to keep order. I salute you all. For the record I love Marmite on toast.

This is so sad. (Shhhh.... Don't tell anyone, but I liked your podcast more than The Joystiq Podcast.) I hope (with the new structure) that there will still be two podcasts a week (though I believe that they're both being boiled into 'The Joystiq Show' which will be once a week. *sigh* This is a sad day indeed.

Now I reluctantly listen to the last episode... :(

I don't know if it's ever been said; probably not enough, but Richard Mitchell is a fraking excellent Podcast host. Don't get me wrong I will miss Dave and Alexander too but Richard Mitchell was the Marmite that keep the show together... Now back to being angry about the end of X3F. BOOOOOOO!

First Talkradar, now the Joystiq podcasts. I can't take so much change so quickly.

You should've ended with "All Good Things (Come To An End)" by Nelly Furtado.

Shout out to the 21.... :( This is a really lame decision on the ed staffs end. I get that the main Stiq podcast didnt give a crap to do the show and that it was a chore. ( It really was starting to show I guess...) I wish you guys could do one in your own private ala MBMB&M... You will be missed dear friends! Thank you for an outsanding show and the laughs!

Thanks for everything you have done for us Richard Alexander and Dave, you guys were truly awesome, and have helped me get through some of the toughest of my times (ranging from a close friend dying, to a pet)

I hope you guys will be regulars on the new Joystiq Podcast, because you guys deserve it!

Having been kicked out of the Garden of Eden that was the X3F and the Joystiq Podcast, I have been wondering the wasteland of entertainment riddled with awful video game podcasts. I am thirsty for some VG podcast, but I will not drink the swill served up by others. Joystiq spoiled me.

Giantbomb - pretty good, but gets nerdy
IGN - quick-witted, but too corporate
Destructoid - weak on news, weak on fun, personality cant make that up
Easy Mode - ears wilted, feels like I am eavesdropping on a superboring Xbox Live Avatar talkshow.

Come back, Joystiq!!!
