I don't know, but if you are in the Dallas area around June, you may be able to ask them:

Looks neat. I might buy this, depending on how the big 3DS games release this summer (or if they're all for fall)

Question:
I want a fighting game for my 3DS. Should I wait for this, or should I pick up Street Fighter?

do you prefer Dead or Alive games or do you prefer Street Fighter 4? you should get whichever one you'll spend more time playing.

I'd say wait. I got Street Fighter on release (not played it since the snes) and just cannot get into it...
I much prefer the combat of DoA so might even see if i can trade it in =O (first game ever).
watch some vids, see if you prefer chaining specials or chaining normal attacks =D

Tomonobu "Don't Call Me Tom" Itagaki isn't with Tecmo anymore, so he has nothing to do with this game.
Plus, Metroid stage!
