What's got me excited is that the first game will be included with this one. I've never owned a computer that could run the game properly, so I missed out big time on it. Glad I'll finally be getting a chance to give it a spin.

No matter what this game is, or how good or bad it is - I will rent it for the hair physics.

My friend liked the first one, and hasn't played anything since. This is my last ditch effort to get her back into gaming. Don't fail me now, Spicy Horse!

I don't see your point. I have respect for hardcore sim games and TBS but I don't give a damn about playing them myself. Who's to say she disrespects games just because she doesn't play them?

@Shadowbender

You seem to be assuming the first comment is from a male user. Judging from ch3burashka's avatar, I would say they are female. But then I'd be applying the same stereotypes...

Anyway, assuming it's a female-female platonic relationship, friendship has less to do with common interests as it does common values.

I didn't word that right. And I wasn't judging his/her friend (and your correct in saying I shouldn't assume the commenter is male).

You're right, you are applying stereotypes. I am male, and am referring to a platonic female friend.

And wtf about the avatar? It's a bear with red eyes, granted drawn in a comical way. That's the same thing as assuming that a person whose avatar is a sexy lady is that sexy lady.

@ch3burashka Re: avatar
They're not familiar with the character you're referencing :) and since big eyes and ears are usually "cute", and "cute" avatars are usually used by the fairer sex hence the assumption.

Yeah, I was afraid I was gonna offend someone. I usually don't read too much into avatars and usernames on the internet. It shouldn't really matter.

Is there some kind of rule for changing your avatar picture that I don't know about? Every time I try it says upload successful, but nothing changes. The .jpg is only 32kb so I don't think size is the problem...

Thanks

@TurbineTech Try using Firefox. I know Chrome doesn't work for avatar changes, but Firefox does work for such, from personal experience. Certain browsers will not update avatar uploads properly.

Sounds great so far, but a shame to hear about the somewhat unresponsive controls. That is pretty damn important to me when it comes to action/platformers. And with the game basically a month away, I'm not sure how likely it is they'll fix it.

I guess this was written about a week ago? In the time it took to publish, the game has gone gold so it seems unlikely that anything will be different from what you saw. Still, not exactly a deal breaker. Really looking forward to it, especially if the original game isn't just in the first print run.

I remember seeing an early preview for this and thinking "hmm looks pretty awkward". If that's still the case with this much later preview I doubt anything is going to change about it (in a game like this which relies so much on a good feeling of movement, I'm not really sure how this sort of thing doesn't get picked up on at a really early stage though).

Bit of a shame really, because the game does look really visually interesting. But then I remember that so did the first game and its gameplay grew pretty tired by the halfway mark.
