Bought! So bought! Rayman 3DS has been tempting me, but this is even better.

I am huge platform junkie but never played 2 because I hated the first 2D one. Maybe I'll try it out at the cheap price.

@FriedConsole

It's a great 3D platformer, more linear in fashion and focused on timing rather than exploration.

@Jovrick

This game has been on PSN (via PSOne re-release) since December of '08), and is playable on both PS3 and PSP.

Not too surprised that Joystiq neglected to mention this.

@AwRy108
Its the grainy PS1 port though, essentially the cliffnotes version of Rayman 2.

I'm talking about making a new HD port that's meant to be the ultimate version of Rayman 2. Make it run in 1080p, make it run at 6FPS, properly map the controls, ect ect. Maybe even add it extra content or do a totally graphical makeover.

I'm willing to pay $40 for N64's voice acting. As Rayman once said, “Zeibuh zubba zabba".

@Shadow Hog
I see. Commence with the "Zibbah zabbah!" then!

If you don't feel like buying a $40 3DS cartridge or a used game OR waiting for the PS Store to come back online****

Considering that it's always this price in New Zealand on PC and it's fairly easy to find AND I already beat it on PC years ago.... Well, it's cool for those who haven't played it, but the controls are frustrating as all hell on PC. I'd love to buy the Dreamcast version and maybe the PS2 one, just to check out the differences and better controls.
