Hunted: The Demon's Forge launch trailer: co-op partners are so happy together
21
This launch trailer for Hunted: The Demon's Forge doesn't do the game too many favors, unfortunately, as it's a little dark and too chaotic to show off much of the co-op-centered gameplay. But the song choice makes up for those faults -- it's just plain inspired.

That didn't quite take me back to smash bros like I thought it would. pretty interested in seeing how the reviews turn out.

I played this about a year ago and it was pretty okay. I wonder if it's any good?

I assume reviews for this are still embargoed? I figured they'd hit at noon today, but I guess not. Does not bode well.

I know what you mean. Ive been looking at this game for a while now, even more so since they announced split-screen coop. Ive got my copy sitting on my desk right now, but I dont know if I want to open it up now.
Im hoping the lack of reviews was because of Memorial Day Weekend, but usually these things get written a few days ahead of time. Maybe Bethesda was worried about sales after what happened with Brink's reviews?

Why is there a random cursor floating around the beginning of the trailer?

That appears to be something with the site's encoding. Official trailer doesn't have that

This whole incongruous-trailer-music trend needs to stop. It was cool and unique the first time, but at this point the games industry has run it pretty solidly into the ground.

I agree with everything you said except for "It was cool ... the first time".
It was never cool.
The Uncharted 3 Multi-player Trailer, the ending of Dragon Age: Origins, the trailer for the new series Camelot, and this trailer for Hunted as well now... They all have something in common: They are supposed to be large in scale, adventurous, and have a musical score to match... But, instead are plagued with whatever this trendy, hipster noise is that my ears are reluctantly hearing.

Holy eff I love watching ads before watching ads.
Maybe AOL will need an ad to sponsor their ad in the coming months and I'll get to watch 3 ads!
I was so happy after watching the AOL ad I had to scroll down to type this and missed the ad I was looking for oh well.

Wow...What a horrible rendition of that song. I can't stand to watch the whole trailer. Great game, but that song is an epic fail.

I hope the game is as good as it looks on paper.

I have to admit...that song is bloody awful.
The only thing it inspired me to do was avoid the game - unless someone can convince me that I don't have to listen to tripe like that when playing it.
