The official PAX Twitter announced today that PAX Prime 2011, which won't even take place in Seattle until August, is sold out. Full stop.
Penny Arcade's marketing man Robert Khoo told us previously that the show got clearance to sell about 10 percent more badges than in prior years, but that didn't seem to make much of difference.
It would seem PAX East was a failure on one level: despite welcoming 69,500 attendees in March, it did nothing to reduce demand for the Seattle show taking place August 26–28. If you didn't grab tickets and still want to go, prepare to put up a fight with the scalpers.
