Yeah, between Undead Nightmare and this package Rockstar deserves a lot of credit for getting the DLC value equation right.
I hardly every buy DLC content, because it is usually "buy a one-hour Mass Effect 2 mission for $7", but I'll definitely be getting this pack.

@copa Wait a second now, some of that DLC was good! ME2 really shined on PS3 though, with all the DLC thrown in. It felt like a complete game from the start. Arrival, which I downloaded later was kind of a letdown. Partly because it was far more brief than Shadow Broker or Overlord.

Whaa? The game is easily around 20 hours long. Even if you don't do street crimes or collectibles. With a standard nowadays 8-10 hours, this is considered a lengthy game.

@Squawk I felt like I was whipping through the game and it still took me 22 hours until the credits rolled. This is by no means a short game.
After getting this game for $10 off I have no problem putting that much back in to get the extra content. Some cases can take up to 45 minutes to complete.

you can blame that on the xbox 360, they were origianlly going to do a 2 layer bluray disc but that would have required 6 dvds for the xbox so they decided to leave some content off

I think part of the problem is they actually said aloud that they left these out of the final game for space reasons. Otherwise they would have actually been included. So technically you'd be paying for stuff that would have been free under other circumstances. It's kinda shitty but this is the world we live in now. If you enjoyed the game enough and want more this is what they're offering otherwise just keep your wallet in your pocket.

On the Dashboard it says Download the Rockstar Pass at 10 Dollars for a Discount on future DLC. It doesn't say all DLC will be free though. Slightly confused.

@latin trident The pass includes the stuff you saw in the video only. They word it the way they did because 2 of those 4 DLC cases you get aren't out yet. So technically it's future DLC. I assume that means all DLC after these 4 cases will still need to be purchased.

I understood that the Rockstar Pass gives you all the DLC at a *Discounted Price. At least that is what I read on Xbox live.

eh, those suits aren't so hot...I'll still get this to get whatever I don't have though. I love the suit the game gives you at level...17-20 (can't remember). I think it's called the Hawkish or something like that.

I will buy every bit of DLC for this game, well, I'll buy every case for this game, but getting suits and stuff with the Pass, why not. Fricken loved L.A. Noire!
Also, with the release dates for for the Electroplating and Reefer Madness, does this mean there won't be anymore upcoming DLC for the game? Or just nothing announced yet? More desks or maybe an expansion would be awesome.. or just way more cases, MOREE!!!!!

I think I'm going to pass. I already have "Naked City", and the "Badge Pursuit Challenge" from my pre-order, and don't care about the suits. I can wait for a sale on the other 3 cases.

I personally doubt I'd use the suits so I'm already saving money, 3 or 4 new cases at 2 bucks a piece after the Amazon deal are feel practically free so I could probably skip the pass altogether.

I Think I will bite on this. Even though I have not finished the game yet I fully intend to do so. I love the way this game has raised the bar for video games of the future. Both graphically and story as well as gameplay In my opinion, Crysis 2 did the same thing as well. There just may be hope for the future of gaming after all... Battlefield 3 I am looking and expecting a lot out of you. I believe you just may deliver.
